JDX opens up a new bubble tea franchise from Taiwan named 'Cha Cha'. First branch is at Sultan Complex (next to Q-xiang, replacing Da Hong Pao)

They are selling the franchise. Booth promoting it will be in the tropicana expo. He said first 10 shops will get discount in the franchise fees at RM88k. After that it will be RM120k.

The money will be used for training, equipment, tools and setup. Does not include finding shop, renovation, hiring staff. After that, the shop will need to buy raw material from him and a service fees

If you want to earn part time money... go to his booth. The owner is desperate to hire part time ppl to make bubble tea throughout the expo. RM100/day... you get to shake shake the bottle... Good exercise smile.gif

They are a bit late in the game. If you go to SS15 at subang and you can find more than 15 such stores there cater to the college students. Location is a challenge. The craze will fade out soon just like those donuts. My 2 cents

I went there only buy the red tea. Use puer tea leaves to do it. Blended by famous tea master Mr. Huang who is also there as a speaker. Very kind man who shared everything on how to mix the puer tea to come up with the recipe.

The only white tea I know is shoumei. Of course, those selling here is of lower grade. Good one already consumed all in China before it can even reach here.

Nowadays price of old tea regardless of types is very expensive. Cant afford to buy. Me usually drink them free whenever I went to tea expo or at tea merchant shop. The recent tea expo I managed to drink 100++ year old liu bao tea. Hope someone else will sponsor old tea at the next tea expo in Mines

If you want to avoid pesticide tea, buy those picked from old tree..Most tea leaves grow on low area kena pesticides including those in Cameron Highlands.

Best to get tea is at Jalan Sultan. Chan see temple and selangor complex got a few tea shop inside with reasonable price

Finally I order a drink that cost RM8 and I must say the puer taste is quite bland. Either the water is not hot enough or the tea leaves is of poor quality. I can get better tea bag at hypermarket than this.
