2003 Dayi Meng Hai Early Spring Qiao Mu Yuan Cha Raw - The shop owner was saying there are lot of fakes out there and his is real (would he say his is not?). Anyway, this has a unique aroma. The shop owner was saying the unique taste is 'Qiao Mu' taste. The tea colour shows it has aged well. A bit astrigency but sweet aftertaste. Kind of nice, but a little expensive for a year 2003.

2006 Kunming 6611 Raw - I was told that this is one of the 1st or 2nd tea being produced by kunming after the factory reopens for biz. I have tried this few times few months ago. Last I recall is sometimes it was good and sometimes it was not. My friend brought it today, didn't manage to brew it... so took the photos.

We can opt to hangout at Tea Expo or my usual places in Jln Kepong there are few shops.

Tea Expo is a place to shop with care... cause there are fakes.

Yes, there are plenty of fakes on branded tea and aged famous tea. So if not sure don't buy...

A lot of tea has sweet aftertaste. Usually spring harvest has better sweetness.

Dayi 70th Anniversary Ripe 2010 - Tasted many times and still find the taste unusual being a ripe. Looking at the dry leaves, it is greenish for a ripe. Looks like ripe, doesn't taste like ripe.

Dayi Yun Mei Raw 2003 - This Dayi is most likely fake as it is not listed in the books. Even the wrapping style is not Menghai. But, the taste is very good. Has the strong 'zhang xiang' taste. This is one example of a 'fake' or 'not registered' tea but is very good.

1940s Liu An Leaves - Medicine taste. Smooth. Sweet. Long lasting brew. Reminds me of the 1920s Liu An stick. But the this is much much much much much much more expensive.

96 CNNP Ba Chong Beeng Raw - I only drank 2 cups. It is good, but I probably would't remember this.
