ITS HERE!!

Actually it's been here since last week but finally got my light programmed to the way I like it.
And now it's my current EDC light

I got the XM-L2 U2 1A tint though. Kinda missed the warm whites I always had but this S2+ is so diffused that the ugly blue/purple/green tint was not noticeable so I'd say this 1A tint was kinda pretty good white

I opt for the 1 amp version as the 2.8 amp version would probably go hot too fast. My Convoy C8 gets uncomfortably hot on 2.8 amp withing less than 3 minutes of use on high

too poor to buy 18350 battery so no tube for me lolol
(didn't really wanted it though. Pocket clip would be awkward for short tube thou)
I had a 16340 light that I didn't use cuz it heats up too fast so I kinda didn't invest on 16340/18350

The stock 18650 S2+ is already smaller than my daily EDC so I'm cool now.

I would say my current brightest light is the Convoy S2+ XML2 U2 1A with BLF A6 driver. No high drain batteries for this pocket rocket yet. Just protected Samsung 26F

power is more than enough to burn electric tape with stock s2+ reflector. I've tried with TIR optic, cuts tape in less than 6 seconds

whether it's legal or not I've seen them selling these with cheapo xpe for RM800 in my nearby My One Store with Ultraflrc battery

Tempted to buy one and do emitter swap but scared taze myself alone at home

the keychain one used to be good. With proper white tint and quality aluminum machining

but the new batch since last year november all life gear keychain lights comes in ugly blue or purple white LEDs with terrible aluminum feel
