what if you already played the game before in the past, and you want to buy it now because you played it before in the past.

Well, if you really want to repent on your sins, buy the new games that is released by developer of your favourite past games. Buying the past games at this point in time does not matter because it's the greedy publishers who make the money. The developers has likely tar-pao-ed.

Eg.. Deus Ex - Ion Storm is the developers.. do they still exists? I am not sure.. but if you were to buy new games from Harvey Smith or Warren Spector now, you will be able to really help them and repent

But I do agree.. we need to support the developers if we could afford it so they continue to build superb games such as Irrational (Freedom Force, Bioshock, SWAT 4), 2K Marin (Bioshock 2), etc
