This is so sucked up!! I went to TMPoint Serdang just to find out their service is offline. I really hope the TMpoint Kajang isn't affected coz I want to go there tomorrow.

QUOTE(teckhooi @ Apr 9 2010, 05:22 PM) Sorry. Abit Off Topic referring to this..: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/660593But Useful For Those In Cooling Period Maxis? 3 Month? How Much? Got One Months ? its a long thread...so let me summarise for u... Maxis Broadband (BB): lowest package: RM 48.00 per month....NO CONTRACT..meaning anytime u can cancel it...1 month pun boleh....their data limit is 1.5GB, exceed it they will throttle ur speed...BUT u dun have to pay for the exceeded data usage... BUT for now, they got promo: subscribe to 3 months, u get a free modem...u pay upfront Rm99.00, then the following 3 months u pay Rm15.00, then on the fourth month baru u pay Rm48.00...cos they rebate the upfront payment of RM99 (into Rm33 per month for 3 month)... u can only subscribe to 1 month IF u got ur own modem..otherwise u cant use it at all..a modem cost around Rm125-2++...if u subscribe to 1 month, they only give u a 3G sim card...if u dun own a modem, u can use it... further discussion, go to the above thread...anymore discussion here later me kena warning... Added on April 9, 2010, 5:39 pm QUOTE(ginolo @ Apr 9 2010, 05:28 PM) question here, answer needed, how do u know the capped speed?..or maybe tat is the speed at the time u test...just check my hometown 512kbps performance. the speed is capped at 485kbps. If you already have the 3G modem or want to use a 3G phone, then you might try for Celcom broadband coz they offered higher 5GB cap quota when compared to others. For the best value for your money, try the broadband daily of the broadband you wanna subscribe. Then you can see which one is best in your area coz in my case, Celcom performs better than the others for the time being.

E.g. 4MBPS Unipack with NEW Homeline = RM88 per month ONLY.But if you install new homeline, of course you will be charged. (RM30 if use EXISTING wire, means REPLACING the old wire; or RM50 if pull new 1) |
