http://cgi.ebay.com.my/New-VAUXHALL-2-0-BA...073590862331742

just make sure the size near to our SX wording..
SX height is 16mm, so 15mm-17mm is acceptable.

I finally changed my Forte into 100% KIA FORTE, was feeling happy.
I went to Kuching yesterday, didnt saw any forte on the road.
However have the chance to pass by KIA motor at Hui Sing (3rd Miles), so many ready forte there, all 5 colour got there. Not sure about 2.0 though.
Saw YLH, Kia SC/Dealer in Kuching (where i get my forte), they move to new place and who dare said sarawak no Kia SC, that is huge building they have there. Triple the size from Miri SC, fuyoh...
Hopefully more Kuching ppl support forte.

according to the info, should be 18mm...but the one I received is slightly smaller than SX..I think 15mm.
It's OK, not obvious.

just now went to test drive 1.6SX, feel the pick up not so powerful as persona, no feel of "pushing" when start to accelerate from still.

then the dashboard got sound like something loosen during uneven road, car body also like "goyang-goyang", is this due to incompleted alignment??

anyone owner can comment? How about 2.0SX, got power enoough??

The 1.6 is pulling something that weighs 1200kg ler... of course it will feel relatively underpowered.
Whether the 2.0 is powerful enough or not depends on which reference point you're basing it on. If you're used to driving kompressors/turbo charged cars or 6 even 8 cylinder pots of course the Forte's Theta will feel sluggish.

If you're comparing it to B segments which are generally 1.5Ls, the 2.0 will have more power towards higher revs although starting from a standstill it might not be able to outrace the lighter B segments.

I not sure whether the SA are tell you to test 3 type of the gearbox mode
1) normal Auto 'D' - good for normal usage, no 'pushing' feeling
2) Shiftronic (+/-) with manual change gear - the feeling are totally different than normal Auto
3) Shiftronic (+/-) with auto change gear - acceleration only, ECU will change gear till red rpm..... the pushing feeling are very strong

Car body goyang goyang - i think the tyre pressure, show room condition - 32 vs recommend 22

22PSI? Tak boleh jalan lah bro..... recommended is 32PSI, most showrooms overpump it to 38 or even 40PSI for the tyres to look good.

i know Shiftronic (+/-), just push the gear knob from D to left, but how to switch to Shiftronic (+/-) with auto change gear??

Got into the SC today to check out the forte 2.0

Got into a Q/A with the SA..even though i agak agak know the root cause of it..here's how it goes..

Q1: Heard there's alignment problem with most forte
A: The tyres from Korea - sure got alignment problem. Solution change to Malaysian made tyres.

Q2: Most undercarriage not fully painted with antirust. Why is that so?
A: Aiyo, you buy so nice car sure won't last more than 5 years, could have sold it by then. In fact, when you sell later, no one will check the undercarriage anyway.

I proceed to buy anyway n left the shop. going to get my car on Mon.

Hurray!!

just let the car change the gear by itself becoz already hit redline.
