At RM2000 budget....I would go for the typical Sony/Pioneer Home Theater package.
Relatively low investment and you'll get many features, including Radio, Karaoke.
Besides, the receiver support mutiple input source, including USB and iPod.
Besides, Sony, Pioneer and the like offer decent sound for movies, with power woofer for strong Bass.
