wah, lepak la bro, i jsut started, i kick off with 10 cherries and after 3 days having them i flew to vietnam for 1 month, came back all alive, kinda happy, now all CRS, surviving but not breeding.

now 2nd tank, not having anything till the water stable. It takes time mroe then money.

but results is priceless.

in this situation, if i were u i'll go for cf1200, dont need worry the upgrades when get into 4ft. however if u using a 1200L/H filter, u will get a whirlpool, of cause u still can reduce the flowrate by the control valve.

@chuppy, right now im also having BBA attack, but just about 10% of my tank is affected, do i need open the co2 24hours ? and open the o2 pump as well ? i worry about make the water parameter swing, at the end my little CRS Kong....

Well, i dont have a chiller so i use my aircon to chill the tank, no no i dont on them all day, i use the timer so it will switch on during the hottest time of the day and for 2 hours jsut for cooling.

without air con my max temp with fan would ard 28C, the CRS survive this.

well my CRS are pretty pampered, they are dose with Mosura products which helps to prevent sudden death of CRS. specially the Shrimp Tonic which boost the CRS immunity towards sudden death, molting and other factors and added with the mineral plus,my shrimps till now are able to withstand the current temp i have for them

hmm, then how about the JET canister filter?
which one better?

i think i mostly wont go for 4ft, got also 3ft.
if i happen to get the 4ft rack and along with the tank, then i dunno wat i gonna do.

bro fong, those goods i bough 1 whole set around RM268, including the food for CRS.

but they have additional base to be included when you put ur powersand, like those panac and bacter stuff from ADA. its called old mud sea.

so those stuff are for your fauna, not flora. for flora wise, i leave everything to mr amano and his ADA products.

those mosura products check lelong, he is the only one selling in msia.

the max temp drop by using fan is ~2 or 3 degree from ambient temp.. that's the max whether how many powerful fan added...

have u kena before whole tank crs gone?

dun worry, mine from 15 rcs becomes like this in 29-30c 1ft tank hehe...

Agree with pinch, one whole system crs gone before.. loss around 200+ pieces of shrimps S grade and above... that 1 la.. really painful.

@fong, BBA appearing right? give your c02 a slight increase.. and wash your filter pad LOL.(with old tank water) Turn 24 hours? not necessary la... that is only if you have manual regulator.. then at night when its not photoperiod only turn on air pump to counter.

4ft then go for 3388 lah.. 3358 to 3368 rm20 difference then to 3388 rm20 difference in price!

for 2feet 3368 will be the best 700l/h and is a big canister fo rmore trays! if 4 feet then go for 3388! 1200l/h!

well the only reason i buy jet cuz im sure i can get spare parts if it breaks down since their supplier is in sg buloh

then how about taiyo brand? is it local brand as well, easy get spare part?
then about the jet-3368, i thought the water flow is around 820 L/H ? cause i check it from one of the post back in page 6.

actually how to check which canister filter suitable for which kind size of tank?
