My water temp suddenly increased..I just set up a new eihiem 2213.. it produce a bit buzzing sound and im sure that i already remove all of the air bubble.. is that buzzing sound indicade something is wrong and the problem is producing the heat?

I think what he mean is not how to calculate the volume, but how to calculate the optimum flow of each aquarium size. Correct me if i'm wrong..

QUOTE(BenSow @ Apr 5 2010, 05:51 PM)
same concept as how a kettle boils water.. friction in the motor produces heat energy which is transferred into tank water...

Added on April 5, 2010, 5:54 pmok.. wats wrong wif my acc?? why i post here the post count wont increase???

Lol, I know about the heat distribution thingy .. But does not one of the reason to use canister filter because it produce less heat than the in tank power head pump?

Not sure how, but maybe simple soap and water test will do the trick?
If there is any leakage, it will bubble up
