from what i see, if the grilles has less or none flowery patterns. It's not that easy to break.
Either u want beauty or security.
And Of coz i dont like that. But malaysia boleh. apa-apa pun can happen

if you look carefully, it does not matter it is flower or none pattern. They just act on the cement that hold the grill. (just like kopek kacang)

So far I have compared a few, their window and door grill are quite on par with others..as for main gate their pricing is better per foot run..quotes are very detail and transparent, so you have option to select the best cost that suit your budget..in mine for less critical area, i opt for mild steel grille while others wrought irons

example: bathroom..i opt for mild steel grille with powder quote since more moisture..so in quote just add on those sq feet with powder coat cost..others may put a minimum cost for that few items

For me, I do not look into cost only but pay much attention to workmanship and finishings..since they are well known for their finishing, I don't mind the few hundreds (conditionally I put it as max 4% of the total cost) extra.

I believe this is the same for kitchen cabinets..materials and accessories, it will be not much different company to company..but workmanship makes much difference..we are the ones going to stay in a house for a very long time, so are we acceptable to having view that poor workmanship day to day..this is of course varies among individuals

What we look at..is value for the money..as another bro says..expensive may not means good..cheap may not means low quality

Very much agree.. save 1-2k end of the day more trouble! My experience is even worst.. its my bro in law who did it for me. Using non-pure aluminum for my gate side door and internal house, say powder coat but the edging all rusty. And its just less than 3 months. Charge me 10k for the whole house. Wtf.. mad.gif
