how to grille those multi-folding doors?
for good security i don't think getting a folding grille on d inside is a good idea.
further more i dowan to be always opening my grille just to open my multifolding sliding doors.
i was thinking to get some horizontally lined grilles for it,but are there options i have not thought about?

Any contact for grill works in Penang? I mean cheaper price than what I have offered?
One guy in paya terubong offering mild steel 3/4 inches
with powder coat RM 20 for door, RM 15 for windows ( sqft)
With paint RM 16 for door , RM 12 for windows, n also charging extra RM20 for each locks if the window grill comes with open type.

Price seems like cut throat, any recommendations? My loc is balik pulau. Thnx if any of u have done cheaper powder coat grill pls send me the contact. Thnx

You can try check with this guy... https://www.facebook.com/threekimmetalworks?fref=ts

He's from Three Kim in Kajang... but can do installation at Rawang... without extra charges on delivery and installation if I'm not mistaken... but please reconfirm again with him...

I wish to recommend my grille contractor that based in Bukit Puchong, Uncle Jeff (019-6106030). Although initially there were some problems with the powder coating, but he willing to take back and recoat without additional charge. The price might be slightly at the high side, but the material and workmanship that he offers definitely value for money!

Highly recommended!!

Understand from my contractor, the workshop that he engaged for powder coat had missed out a step to apply a layer of chemical before coating which can give better protection against rusting in future.

Sand blast as far as i know is to clean the metal surface and make sure its even... No dent or anything..

Steps normally are

1.sand blast
2.hot dip
3.undercoat
4.powdercoat
5.oven bake
6.protective coating
7.oven dry..

This so far what i've seen in a powder coat factory..
