The best quote I had received recently to share:
To supply and install 1. Two unit of grille window 580 x 1200mm RM 200.00 2. Three unit of grille window 1760 x 1160mm RM 850.00 3. Two unit of grille window 1070 x 550mm RM 163.00 4. One unit of grille window 2350 x 1740mm RM 567.00 5. Two unit of grille panels 570 x 1770mm RM 280.00 6. One unit of double leaf door 1210 x 2090mm RM 600.00 7. One unit of double leaf door 1770 x 2690mm RM 720.00 8. Replace anchor frame for 10 nos of grille window RM 350.00 Mild Steel: 20mmx 20mm x 1.2mm hollow section fabricate to horizontal design at ±4 ½” gap c/w one coated of antirust and two coat paint Mild Steel: 12mm square bar (solid, not hollow) fabricate to horizontal design at ±4 ½” gap c/w one coated of antirust and two coat paint at locations (2) and (5) at an additional of 45% of the listed price. There's a lot of misconception being spread by the sales ppl. The best is to go to the factory / workshop and engage the owners. Take the effort to go to these workshops. i think most of the terace would have max 350 to 400 sqft. normally for a horizontal powder coating, market price should be around RM11 and doors around RM16
if mild besi, deduct RM4 or 5 so, in your scenario = 350 X 11 =RM3850 Door = 56 * 16 = RM896 Total = RM4746 I would say the price is around that range QUOTE(cyanide @ Apr 21 2010, 11:28 PM) |

Hi, I'm planning to grill my new house at Semenyih, I'm still looking for a good contractor with reasonable price to do the grill for the whole house. Can you guys recommend any contractor nearby kajang or semenyih. Planning to get their quotation first then make comparison with the contractor that my brother in law recommend me. If the price is rights and the quality is good, then I will install it maybe on next 3-4 weeks.

Speaking of grilles, I've been told by one contractor that having "angle bar" would be more secure compared to just mounting the grilles directly. How true is that?
Would 0.8mm thickness MS grille be sufficient enough? I was quoted RM 8 psf for that. |

Has anyone used the 'Invisible Grill' rather than the normal one ? This invisible Grill is pretty neat especially if you want to put up a full heigh grill at the balcony of your condo.. I'm just wondering about its durability...anyone ?
