hehe.sorry i forgot jor biggrin.gif hehe...

oh ya, i tried steelseries 5hv2 which is equivalent to tactx headset.. erm.. can i say smth bad bout it? it really just for gaming. don ever think of using it for other purposes . thats all about it. the sound is too sharp, too many treble. bass is too soft that u can hardly hear any boom factor for a 200+ ringgit headset.. >.<
*
ouh i see.. thanks for the feedback smile.gif

how about Kave. did you tried yourself before?

kave nope.. i tried megalodon. hmmm... the sound produced is not bad. about 7/10. same quality with carcharias when switched to 2.1. tested at pc fair.. hehe..

the best is steelseries siberia v2. that one is really superb. i give 9/10. good bass, good treble and super light on ur head.. so far thats the best gaming headset i ever tried. however , i nvr tried kave sad.gif
*
and how much is Steelseries Siberia v2? i kinda new in this headphone tiggy actually. thanks for all this info! notworthy.gif

the downside of the kave is it is freaking heavy. it will give you neck-ache after 30 min of using. damn. sweat.gif

alright thanks bro. would hunt for 2 units later lol.

one for my mbp and another for the aw.

erm i took the m15x at 6599, then upgraded the processor to highest spec and ram also.

cos initially wanted the m17x for its specs, but then was put off by the weight and size. 10kg is like lugging a sack of rice wherever you go man haha.
*
what do you mean by 10kg? its like 6kg including power brick and everything.

sigh. 2 days old and got problem.

so how should i go about bro? call dell and ask them to come?

Added on April 23, 2010, 8:18 amalright guys, i tried it out and it seems funny.

i turned my AW on and off for a couple of times.

thing is if its starting up on battery, i get the huge alien head that allows you to enter bios, then goes to the starting windows screen before reaching the alienware login screen.

if the ac is plugged in, i don't get any of the previous ones but a black screen all the way, the screen is only lit up when it reaches the login screen to windows, the one that's red and black with an alienware at the bottom.

now is that normal or should i just call dell support?
*
it is not normal, but as long as its doesn't disturb your lappy performance, i'd say it not a serious problem.

anyway, try to plug off your DC wire and pull out the battery, and press the power button for like 5-10 secs. and then start your lappy again smile.gif

alright bro shall do.

does that mean bro hellfire8888's laptop is also experiencing the same problem as mine?

or is this something that's only available in newer units that's shipped recently?
*
i don't know about him, but newer unit seems bit problematic.

refer back during Insydious, me and Nohal time, there is no major problem at all. the quality can be class as excellence.

QUOTE(Shah.Legno @ Apr 23 2010, 09:15 AM)
post it back again.

is it anyone here had update with new beta m11x Nvidia driver release from Dell website?
197.12 release.
any performance improve or problems?
*
honestly if you want feedback on newer software/drivers, NBR forum is a suit place to start. then based on their feedback, you can teaches the other M11x owner in LYN smile.gif

hope this input helps! smile.gif

My M15x is running on the 820 i7 Proc and the BIOS A02. No such issues on startup so far like yours either on AC or on Battery.
Welcome back bro. Well if the guy on NBR has been running the ATI 5870 DDR5 without any issues and with good performance, I'll try to get hold of one and change mine leaving me with an un-used GTX 260M  icon_idea.gif ..... Interested? smile.gif
*
hmm. but someone claim that it will not fit. not even the heatsink... hmm.gif

In a bit of a rush now, will post link later unless someone like Doc can post it here first.? Search google for 'M15x + Ati 5870"

Was checking the EURO Specs for the M17x, So far didn't see any options for the ATI 5870 to be Crossfire. Only single card....
*
is 5870 Mobility Crossfire already exist? care to share the source bro? hmm.gif

thanks in advance.

QUOTE(putochip123 @ Apr 26 2010, 05:42 AM)
guys, got 2 x 4GB RAM 1066 for sales, who is interested, let me know...... Each for RM700

Added on April 26, 2010, 5:43 amcurrently no proc can utilize 1333, so 1066 is more than enough d
*
nice price bro brows.gif

good luck with your sale! laugh.gif

oh and btw, the different between 1066 and 1333 is nearly negligible, so no worries about that smile.gif

QUOTE(cy-yang @ Apr 26 2010, 06:01 AM)
more than enough for a single 5870..
the R1 version seems so weak now and damn expensive compare to R2..
and wOw
congratz.. our planet have more and more aliens \..  rclxms.gif
*
why stop at single card when you have an option to choose CF?

but kinda agree with the bolded part. i'd mention it once R2 is released. now you seems understand the concept and relationship between utilization and certain technology in gaming. smile.gif
