5870 from sager about 500 usd++ without shipping ~ if wait dell 1 most probably much higher ~

5870 is the latest for Alienware laptop ? any newer thingy coming to them ? I am gonna order mine soon since I'll come back next month.

Suggest the latest spec that I should not miss out 

what is play waiting game ? I dont set a budget at the moment. . just want a M17X 

maybe i think, threorytical, 5870CF only desktop 5770CF, peformance something like 5850 desktop, due to it is CF, it might have issue for some games, dont be happy yet  
what i suggest is just get 1 GC is more than enough, not moany games support CF, even though it support Sli/CF, do u really need it? hohoho

Got my heatsink and GPU Fan replaced by DELL Engineer yesterday. Paid attention so that I can get an idea how to change my GPU. An interesting fact was that the Engineer wanted to replace my GPU which I didn't ask for. Turned out that GPU Was DOA and had to revert back to my perfectly working GPU.....

I understand you. Me too as an M15x owner am already thinking for getting the newest specs M17x. For the time being I am just gonna order the ATI 5870 Card from the US. I already got the quotation for it and will have to bank in money to the guy if I wanna get it at the price he quoted for me plus shipping. Its less than RM1.5K per-card but the benchmark for the  games are significantly better than all current cards especially for the GTX 260M in my M15x. My only concern is the operating temp and like you, that if a HD 5970 Might come out which is compatible with my M15x? Do I stick to my modified M15x then or should I get the M17x anyways?
