i nvr heard such bad comments frm Di622 owners except the AF assist light issue n underexpose TTL
other than that they love it n it is a good flash

@Hikari, lenses with Nikon F mount can be used on D5000 even though non AiS
jz u have to manual focus n no metering

sure SB600 built n quality better, but the Nissin aint so bad that it'll broke like a toy lor

Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 OS was jz recently announced, haven launched into market, not?
im looking foward to this lens cos Sigma HSM can solve the slow AF problm of Tamron 17-50
got OS to fight with Tamron VC lagi

but Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 without OS oredi almost rm2k, so the new lens most likely will be pricier

nope, the BG dun have command dial, as there's no pins to link to cam to utilize the function
the shutter button works by linking with wire to the remote control port, but the port doe not allow command dial function

if your budget is below rm500 n in desperate nid, Nissin Di622 is a good choice
n the performance is well worth of wat u pay
only issue is the AF assist light which is solved in latest firmware
so make sure u get a unit updated to latest firmware, or u'll nid to send to Nissin office for update

i feel that when using 50mm the shutter sounds faster
when using 55-200 it sounds heavier than when using 18-55
maybe different lens build resonate the shutter sound frm body differently?
