so AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G on DX body is about 50mm rite?
by using this calculation 35 x 1.5 = 52.5
is this correct?

Wait, i am bad at mathematics, what is the 1.5 and where does it come from?

Of course "the one using the flash suxx if the outcome is bad".
But then I want to know which one would the norms prefer to use.
Of course including the consideration of the pros and cons.

If you want something reliable the SB900 works fine. If you're tight on budget, can opt for third party.

i m using the nissin di866 smile.gif
so far so good , i dont really do CLS
But sometimes i find nissin to be not that sensitive when i using my flash to trigger it
in using comander mode smile.gif
judging from the spec and power + the price, nissin still win it.
if u never use flash gun before, or your;re in doubt, u could purchase a normal cheap flash like
nissin di622 which cost like rm 420++ or
Nikon sb600 (rm 800++)
both the above model are almost same in specs
if u add a little on top of rm800++ the price of sb600 , u ll get Nissin di866(rm 850++) which is a challenger to
the SB 900 which cost more than rm 1400++.

Nissin di622 VS SB600

Nissin di866 VS SB900

Nikon is the best choices if money not an issue
Nissin is the best to consider for the price and specs.
Both brands are good of course to be consider for flash gun smile.gif

silver_de_gene: if u r happy with 50mm 1.8 n manual focus, then the lens is good enuf for u d, dun nid spend unnecessarily
another difference between 1.4 n 1.8 is the bokeh pattern, 1.8 lens gives u polygonal shape bokeh, 1.4 gives smooth round bokeh

wravez: i only tested Nikkor 50 1.4G in shops n Nikon centre, so i cant know how it performs under other conditions
but comparing the pics i taken, i'll say the IQ of both lens is very good n similar, maybe got difference if pixel peep, but i dont
reviews say sigma is better at vignetting n fringing control cos of the bigger front element, this 1 i cant confirm
the reason i got sigma bcos i prefer the built n 2 yrs Sigma warranty thumbup.gif

edwardgsk:your D90 macam 2nd ver positron cannon for 2 Eva units to fire it tongue.gif
btw, your hp take the pic so nice, not like my crappy 1 cry.gif
oh ya, SB900 on D3 only look balance brows.gif

celciuz: u r rite, Canon 50 1.2L 72m filter diameter, the 50 1.0L oso 72mm filter diameter
so Sigmalux is still the real dinosaur whistling.gif

How much did you pay for it?
And where did you buy?

Both are my concerns. unsure.gif
