Seems okay just that the green part is a bit overdone... Oversaturated.

ADL = Auto D-Lighting? Does that affect the photo display on LCD?

@bad melatonin
Aiyo learn PSAM mode!!! that's a must! I never use Auto mode since the very 1st day I get my 1st DSLR, maybe in total less than 5 times using automode till now.

Try using A mode, just adjust aperture. And maybe set ISO, AF point too. try more and you explore more =D

Anyway... 2moro I will say goodbye to my D40 T.T
Served me so well... Time to kiss her goodbye!

ISO depends on your need lor. If you shooting in bright sunlight, ISO 200 is enough. Lower iso, lower noise, smoother the photo and means better IQ generally. For high ISO u normally use it during low light like PC fair, events, etc. But at high ISO like 1600 the noise is very obvious.

Hmm i think 1 year only... still have 2 months warranty left i think. but PJ is damn far for me to RMA T.T

Yah you're right.. that's why i stick to di622 which is powerful but cheap! and TTL to manual is very easy...

so lucky its not faulty sweat.gif ..
ermmm bro, so whats d safest ISO for keeping d noise at minimal?
*
Err i suppose you're using D3000 or D5000?
When i was using d40 i keep my iso max at 800, because 800 is already noisy for me. 1600 can't imagine =X

There's no right or wrong, when you keep shooting you will eventually know how to control ISO =D

If at pc fair i suggest at least ISO 800 + a fast lens like 50mm f1.8. if no fast lens then need ISO800 + flash, or higher ISO. not yet try shootinglow light portrait with my new rig... hmm.gif dunno how it performs...

Added on April 22, 2010, 1:56 amJust saw 12800 sample pic 100% crop, that's like iso 1600 in d90 doh.gif
