I would get the 55-200 instead of Sigma due to lack of VR.

I've a friend with the Sigma 70-300, said the lens is ok for outdoors. But image is damn soft 200mm onwards and when indoor totally unusable at all due to low shutter + no sort of image stabilization. In the end he sold it and went for the 55-200 VR instead.

Anyone here uses an umbrella setup for wireless flash? How much did your setup cost you?

Gotta remember, for the basic model, (D3000 and 1000D) Canon seems better with CMOS sensor and also built in motor. D3000 is using CCD sensor and does not come with AF built in motor.

Well, that's my point of view. CMOS versus CCD, built in motor versus no built in motor. You can use 50mm f/1.8 on 1000D, but not on the D3000 without ability to AF.

Probably one of the reason why D70/D80/D90 is successful icon_idea.gif . I don't know, probably their marketing strategy perhaps?

In that case, even the entry levels from Canon can use the cheap yet good 50mm f/1.8 biggrin.gif. But Nikon's D5000 and below can't.

Correct, Nikon CMOS sensors works best at ISO200 instead of ISO100 (Lo1.0).

You will need to stop down your aperture, f/16 and above. If really can't then you need to move back already.

Cropped? I think it would have looked better if the slippers can be seen completely rather than half cropped.

Finally using my 18-105 once again today, really under utilizing. Maybe should sell it away =/, but it is my first lens after all T^T Tak sampai hati haha!

There's like a case that came with my Danbo Mini, what's that for anyways?
