Thats maybe because they have might have changed the satellite entry point..
I'm not sure whether u have done it or not but u can try change urs
Try

Home>Settings>Installation Settings>Enter PIN code (0000)>Satellite Settings>LNB Type>Change to #18 MEASAT 3A(VH)

Someone here said its just changing the signal strength number
But signal quality is the same
So if u just wanna get the same signal strength number so others here, just do the above

Its just that u have seen the quality of HD when watching EPL or F1
N when u see it in normal channel u will experience normal quality
Thats the meaning of Astro Byond..Experience like never before
So dont worry bout ur normal channel 'blur'

I especially notice it in Champions League games

one of the members here is a Byond dealer..
Goes by the name cam4709
But I suggest u call astro straight..
Would be better and faster..
Should be installed in 3-5days
Online applications sometimes late or and sometimes no reply

Ahaa..thats the problem..
Astro dont have anyone to compete with
They dont regard TM's IPTV as a big competitor
So unless they wanna compete with anyone outside of the country then we gonna get local programmes..

There are repeats..u just have to check the guides..usually its in the next 24 hours after the game

SkySports sells their product but not the whole channels
Example, EPL, Champions League, League Cup, Rugby, Snooker, Boxing and so on
They will sell the games to other networks and broadcasters like Astro and ESPN
To be fair we do get a lot of SkySports product on Astro
Sad to say though we dont get the whole channels..
N i think its the same with any other country in the world..
No SkySports except in the UK

Bro..dont ask how many matches will be shown simultaneously
U already have the answers..
The only matches that will be going on simultaneously is the last round of group games..
Thats the only time u will have two matches at the same time
Then one match at a time right until finish World Cup
Check the World Cup schedule..
U should know this thing better as u are the World Cup mascot

Apparently the hot news on Astro FB page is that AXN BEYOND is coming in May
A lot of things are coming in May they say..
I bet a lot has to do with World Cup but dont rule out the recording functions bec0ming available too
But is sucks that they have only 1 tuner for Byond..
Any sifu here can teach give opinion on how to overcome this?

Replace the big astro logo with the black backgound with the logo of the channel being viewed

yeah la..why want to go through so much trouble to watch TV
want to watch so many channels but get bad quality what for..
got job and family to take care off..
watch TV 24 hour also can become gila..
dont know how if get so many channels with mcam2 satellite and internet thing at home..
one day everything blow up..

I am going to balik kampung to my grandparents home this weekend..
They dont have HDTV so no HDMI port..
They do have astro and use normal TV]
I want to bring my Byond decoder back
I know I wont get HD quality but my package is better than my grandparents
So if I bring my Byond box, remote, and smart card with me, how do i set up?
Other than connecting satellite cable to Byond decoder, what cables should I connect from TV to decoder?
What colour?

Dunno if u are a sports fan or not but we need at least 1 sportsnews channel..
For some who wont watch late night matches or sports, they can wake up and switch on the channel to get the latest results..
So we could at least get the news before going to work..
Sportscentre is only night time news which by the time its on air, the news a;ready basi..
Sometimes it some nes wont even be on Sportscentre
N some breaking sports news would be available..
So there is at least people who would appreciate it

Again this topic has been brought up many times before and I will explain again..
EPL matches in HD is only available if the match is in HD in the UK itself..
SkySports and ESPN UK have their say in which matches will be shown in HD
Astro and ESPN ASIA just pick up the feed that is available
So if the matches are not in HD in the UK then u wont get it in HD on Astro and vive versa..

Man City vs Aston Villa was not in HD..
Birmingham vs Burnley was in HD..
These matches were picked by SkySports tobe in HD or not weeks in advance
In some cases, a month before schedule match take place
So it was deemed that Birmingham Vs Burnley was more important on relegation than the other match bearing in mind Villa were out of contention for Champions League place weeks ago until recently..

Some round of matches are not picked until the very last few days..
For example next week last round of matches..
It has yet to be determined which match will be in HD
Either title race or Champions League place more important
Will be determined in the days leading up to the matches..

Hope this will help those understand this basic rule of broadcasting matches
Next season all 380 EPL matches will be Live on Astro
How that will be packeged is still to be determined

10 days is just the standard time frame for Astro to install Byond..
Nothing wrong there
It will probably be installed in 3-5 days..
Mine was..live in Skudai JB

usually 20 pages can be reached in a week..
and whatever has been said in the 1/2 months u were away, has not been that excting..
so yes it is dyyyiiiinnggggg

Everypne who has called Astro to subscribe for Byond will actually get the standard response of 10 days to install..
No matter u subscribe online or through the phone
No matter if u have subscribed online for 2 weeks or 2 hours..
No matter if u live next to Astro in Bukit Jalil or in Perlis..
They say 10 days..
But as many have found out sometimes they can install in 3 working days
Or in my case more than 2 weeks
For those who want to subscribe for Byond, it is more advisable to call and apply
Speak to their CS would help u know more than applying online and wait forever
Sometimes ur online application never get to them or its delayed by astro themselves

we need more people filling up stadiums in international events
last month I saw a Malaysian Premier League match on Arena Live from Melaka Hang Tuah Stadium
The stadium was sooooooooooo full.......of empty chairs..
There were only 4 spectators watching in the stand facing the camera..2 Rela guards and 2 ballboys..!!!
