How the stability so far? How long have you over-clock it?
How hot was it compared to 700mhz when using at 100% processing.

Btw, I notice your swap usage is 0. Did you have micro SD card? I'm not sure the swap memory usage is on the internal 32GB or micro SD only, if micro SD only, then you should try getting one as I read in maemo-talk, it improve some slight performance, but at the same time, to access swap memory apps will be slower.

The point is not how fast does the battery runs out the point is can other brand phone do it?

@ RM1K, that's a big steal, never seen so low 2nd hand N900 before, even RM1.5K is rare. Hope you unit is in good condition, if yes, then you're very lucky and should be grateful/thankful about it.

Perhaps because you're not familiar with smartphones pricing and Nokia's high end model pricing; Even the official set @ RM2280 is considered cheap, considering Nokia's high end device official set is usually > RM2.5K. The N900 is currently most powerful Nokia's N series phone and yet, it's only priced RM2280 for official set. This is probably to compete with the market and other competitor which also priced around the same price range.

Even before N900 AP set available, those that import the phone personally are selling it for around RM3.3K and there is people who buy it, and the warranty? None, you can register online but the warranty will be in US.
So, if there're people willing to pay RM3.3K for a no warranty device, you can imagine official set selling for RM2280 is a good price or not.
I think it's better you research more on ZaggShield... it's not like other screen protector. You need to know how to apply, the process is different; and the result and effect it different from normal screen protector. There's rubbery feel to it.
The good thing is the protection is good, but the feel and look is not a desireable factor for some people.

For me, I prefer Crystal Clear and smooth touch.
Even for normal screen protector, there're already 4 different types. Go find out from the screen protector seller. And these are much much more cheaper than Zaggs and it's easy to apply.

i wanted to get cheap 1 also but then d time N900 wasn't introduce to MY at all, so not much accessories sell in market..n i kinda rush tat y i bought it also eventhough cost me RM40..i guess soon or later we can get cheap screen protector and case for N900 since launch in MY adi

From the photo it looks like the cover have magnet because the earpiece of the phone also have a magnet so magnet against magnet guess wat extra bonuses u will get

The Nokia N900 1.2 software update is set to hit the net later this week. Read on to find out more about what it’ll include.

Many Nokia N900 users are waiting for a MeeGo update but this new 1.2 update won’t take the device up to that next level. Instead, it focuses on Maemo 5 tweaks and updates.

NokNok writes that it’ll include new screen rotation functionality and a virtual on-screen keyboard. We’d still prefer to use the Nokia N900’s slide-out keyboard, but the virtual keyboard has been a much demanded feature, so is a welcome addition.

The MeeGo update is still coming, and will reportedly allow the Nokia N900 to dual-boot to Maemo 5 and MeeGo, but is not at the top of the MeeGo team’s priority list. Better luck next time, Nokia N900 owners. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear any more news of the next Nokia N900 update
