One question.

This phone has 256MB RAM, rite?
What's the idle memory consumption for this phone? I see mine one is quite high when its idle (no 3g connection, not connected to wifi). Its shows here the consumption is about 240MB. Only left below than 10MB. Is it normal?

Yup, few of us have been doing that, hehe. It's great during traffic jam or traffic lights; I don't really pay much attention to the videos, but putting the videos on, somehow makes you less stressful when traffic jam or you won't feel you're stuck in the jam/waiting for traffic light for very long. Just make sure pay attention to the road.

Do you mean from the System Info widget? My desktop is packed, except FB Applet which I remove. When idle it's using about 150MB, and when online it goes up to 160MB++ or more.
From Conky app, I can see another 130++MB swap memory usage. (not sure if it's using the internal 32GB or my micro SD card).

If you're talking about rootfs, then yes, if you install a lot of devel apps which are not optified, it'll take up your rootfs. Here's some instructions to free up rootfs space, but there might be problems for some instructions:

However, I find it difficult to have without QWERTY keyboard, touchscreen+QWERTY keyboard is the best.

Yea my Nokia 5800 is like tat i prefer both combination physical and virtual together

Yeah, my current old SE P1i has both and I find it very convenient.

i tried P1i but i get annoy with the keyboard because 1 numberic key shares two alphabets so i cant get used to it.
Maybe i am to used to computer keyboard QWERTY

Yeah, the buttons are tiny but after sometimes you will get used to it.
It has been two years and everything seems OK to me.

Back then P1i was once of the hottest phone because its price tag is very reasonable and tat time its the cheapest touchscreen phone with symbian

The point is because u do not know what you want u only cause confusion to people that reads it. Dont you notice nobody talks about what N900 can do or any new software only about your confusion between N900 and so called N920?

Yup.I think in every quarter of year Nokia will release new models.

N900 flaws will be fixed at N900 itself.Nokia always release firmware updates to improve their smartphones.
For example the upcoming PR 1.2 updates will fix a lot of bugs & also add some functions.
