Meaning the UI could be more polished and bugs fixed. If Samsung really want to make a successful phone, I believe they will do their best to ensure the firmware/software is optimized for prime time.So the guy before you isn't entirely incorrect. |

QUOTE(linkinawe @ Apr 26 2010, 07:39 PM) yeah , Asia country which can get their hands on early is Korea , Taiwan , HongKong ... Malaysia ? ow ! except some sellers take HK sets to here . Yupe agree with you that HTC sense is better than any other phones in the market now. But regarding the slow responses, i hope they were better in this phone because i used Omnia b4 but due to the sensitivity of the screen, i changed it.^^ But for galaxy, we need to test it when it release then we will only know the result as the video we saw is just a demo set. I think they will still improve it as the demo set has no flash. SO hope they can improve on the area that need improvement. ^^cant agree anymore . for me , I dislike Samsung UI , it has quite bad reputation among the smart phones . The apps interface look like apple =.= .. just go to youtube and have a glance . Believe your eye . Compare the response of Nexus one , Desire and Galaxy S . All of them have 1ghz processor , but HTC sense UI has better responses than Samsung UI . Actually Galaxy has better advantage because of super amoled screen "Unlike regular AMOLED screens, the Super AMOLED screen places touch sensors right on top of the AMOLED screen, which eliminates the need for an additional touch sensor panel, removes air gaps, and improves touch sensitivity." but still , slower responses ! if you watch Samsung Galaxy S hand CTIA in youtube , you will notice some lagging. Actually I changed my mind from Desire to Galaxy , but after I watch the slow Samsung UI , ow , just stick to HTC Desire . Something is not perfect with Samsung UI because the programming of UI doesnt fit the logic design of the hardware itself . |

QUOTE(alfredtwl @ May 4 2010, 05:22 PM) I think Samsung sure will install a flash on Galaxy. If not they are really stupid, no flash on a Superphone? kidding man. No flash in the night pic, the super Amoled screen also cant help anything on it. So just be patient and see how Samsung improve on it. ^^ |

As shown in CTIA 2010, the first Android based Samsung phone seems to be a bit laggy. The developers say that the version present at the show is not the final one. The software and the hardware will suffer some modifications until the actual Samsung Galaxy S release date, in June 2010.
As for the costs for acquiring this phone, the manufacturers state that the Samsung Galaxy S price will be around $1000. Yes, that much. Counting on other phones being released in the market on that season, the sales numbers won’t actually go to the top of the charts. Android fans were expecting a phone that would cost around $500 and if this price remains unchanged until summer, we could see another disappointing. source : http://www.softsailor.com/news/22767-samsu...-announced.html cant wait this to be released This post has been edited by hxcpride: May 10 2010, 12:56 AM |

iPhone is a trend. but seriously why Samsung wants to follow iPhone's ass..
i like the specs, i used omnia last time and liked it very much.. but i feel down when thinking my iPhone friends will say " ur phone tiru iPhone huh?" while behind the design this galaxy is way way way better than iPhone! |
