This is true and correct.

Actually if you put Pokemon Black/White in a US/EU DSi, you will get an error message saying "no game cartridge" so the only DSi units that can play Black/White are Japanese ones. Well, at least until March. [Source]

The only way I can figure out to play Black/White on a non-Japanese DSi would be if you had the rom and you played it through a flashcart, in which case the game is loaded as a DS game. This is because flashcarts can only emulate DS mode and not DSi mode. But in doing so you lose the DSi specific features, even though its played on a DSi. This is my hypothesis anyway since I haven't tried it.

OOH! I wonder too. The podcasts I've been listening to have been speculating that and rumour has it there's a huge chance Monster Hunter might land up on 3DS in some form or another.

Miis were fun for about 5 minutes on the Wii. I hope Ninty comes up something better for them on the 3DS. Sorry, but just having facial detection to create Miis isn't enough. (Psst, here's a suggestion: take a page from MS, offer downloadable updates for Miis!)

I'm guessing the appeal of augmented reality (as it is currently) will die off quite quickly too. Unless some form of interactivity is available, it'll just be a neat but ultimately useless feature.

Seeing as the 3D effect can tire your eyes, it looks like not only will I be spending money on new 3DS games but also stocking up on eye mo!

Also, I'm a bit worried reading the article where it says you need to hold the 3DS really steady for the 3D effect to be effective. Doesn't sound good for somebody who regularly takes public transport like me. If it ends up annoying enough, I might actually end up switching the 3D off.

I think 3D platformers ala Mario Galaxy or 3D action games ala God of War now have a better chance on the 3DS thanks to the analogue nub.

(Better) FPSes might make it big too thanks to the 3DS's extra muscle. Conduit 3DS anyone? lol

I really hope the 3DS gets good racing games. Ridge Racer and Asphalt 3DS look promising but I don't want to get my hopes up.
