Well I hope it stays around the same. Now that cost of development has gone up, I won't be surprised if game price goes up as well. Somebody ahs to pay for all that awesomeness and I hope it isn't me. Because I am broke and I have mouths to feed. But still want to play games. In Three Dee.

On a scale of one to ten? Very.

If I am not mistaken, Pokemon White/Black only has special features if you play with a DSi, instead of a DSphat or DSlite. (For example, Some tv monitors show footage, whereas if you play on a DS, there's just static. IIRC). I guess these special features would unlock if you play on a 3DS as well, but it's not 3DS specific.

As for love plus... err, isn't love universal?

If the 3D effects is too bothersome or annoying, you can always turn it off. There's a slider switch on the side where you can adjust the 3D effect, like a volume slide.

3D is an either or kind of thing. It works for some people, it doesn't for others.

And I'm more hyped up over a remake of a 12 year old game rather than any of the new 3ds games! Yay Ocarina of Time!

That's actually pretty cool! I hope those sort of features trickle into other 3DS games - ones where I wouldn't be too embarrassed to play. I mean being 30-year-old pokemon player on a crowded komuter train is pretty embarrassing already, but this... too much.

I interpret that sentence as asking are you Japanese or not (or will you have a Japanese 3DS or not), cos it is highly likely the 3DS will have region locking.

If you really want to play LovePlus so much, consider getting a Japanese 3DS... or wait until someone hacks a region unlocking solution

Looks like bad news on that front as well actually. If the 3DS follows the pattern of DSi, then normal cartridge-based games will be region locked as well, just like Pokemon Black/White are region locked if played on DSis.

I personally don't import JP games (if only i understood the language) but the probable lack of ability to play EU games might be a problem for me since they tend to get games US doesn't seem to get (Inazuma Eleven, 999, Last Window). Also, some EU games are easier to find (therefore: cheaper) than their US counterpart, e.g. Dragon Quest V
