wad region u guys getting?

I should promise myself to not getting the 3DS earlier..Should wait for a few months after US version released..Maybe will buy it if the system has a little update and after the internet browser/3DS Shop have been launched...

Or should I say, waiting the price decrease [even just a little bit], so I can save more for 3DS games..

getting US one 1st .. but not many games .. pray hard for MMO

yep seen the news as of yesterday, a long queue for the 3DS in Japan. the 1st batch units is just barely enough to cater pre-orders in japan alone.

Played some American DS games on my 3DS, they worked fine. In addition to that, it created some sort of icon/picture/sticker that is collectable in the Activity Log book section in the 3DS. Sorta like a tracker of what you have played.

Also, the 3DS tracks how much I've walked around. Too bad nobody is around to test StreetPass with this. Otherwise would have been able to swap Miis and challenge them on the spot. For the game SSFIV3D, it'll be in the form of street-fighting-character challenge, and the winner wins a virtual 3D figure that they can collect in the game.

From what I read, the 3DS web browser wont be Opera anymore, it'll be supplied by Netfront. The same Japanese company that makes the web browser for PSP. If they can make the web browser 3D in some way, that would be something to look forward to.

ADDENDUM: SSFIV3D has the option to further turn the game into "more 3D". Instead of the perspective from the front with the 2 fighters, you can change the camera to 45 degrees near to the back of your chosen character. The depth of field here is even better, and characters fly in and out of view even more apparent.

Tetsted the AR games just now using the supplied 6 AR cards. I'm having much more on this than Ridge Racer 3DS or the SSFIV3D! Hilarious and engaging.

Also tested the Face Raider AR game. Basically, snap a face pic of someone (for me it's someone I hate, so it's Jay Leno), the face will morph into a flying balls with copter blades, and you aim and shoot these balls with your 3DS. Endless fun, and you will be looked upon weirdly in public doing this.

Also checked my pedometer on the 3DS, I walked 659 steps. Pretty lengthly seeing that I took LRTs and all.

the 3ds is region locked! so becareful when choosing to buy a 3ds online.

Cannot video, the parallax barrier screen makes poor video capture. That is why invite people to test. Unless I turn the 3D effect which turns it into a normal boring DS.
