ameen,
Play a 24p source, then in tv setting, others, select 24p cinema off. That ensures that it refreshes at 96Hz.

Samsung bdp1600 need to enable 24p playback. Then you have to play a 24p source (can be from mkv/avi from USB, not necessarily from bluray/DVD). Your TV will display 1080p/24.
On a separate matter, some personal feedback, guys. I don't want to oversell but you should try out some kind of professional calibration. It actually does make quite a significant improvement on overall PQ.
Hi, sorry i'm confused again.
As per bro anfield suggestion, If i do off the 24p cinema on TV setting, play the 24p source, the tv itself will display 1080p/96hz rite ?
Poorman,
I did manage to get my bd played at 1080p/24hz on tv, it's just that i want to get it to play at 1080p/96hz which is better, correct ?
