hi, i'm turning to use new pc monitor with hdmi port but none sound output
i know this question is frequently been asked, but i still dont get it...sorry in advance

do i need to have those special cable which could splits visual n sound
that split hdmi (for visual), and connector white&red (for sound)
in order to use pc monitor + sonic gear speaker setup.

or i simply connect both
1. standard ps3 cable (connect white&red connector to speaker)
2. hdmi cable (connect to monitor for visual) ??

1. you mean composite cable, yes, you can. you can also use optical out. it has better audio.
2. yes, you can. provided that your monitor have a hdmi port.

Hi guys..

I am thinking of getting a new display to play ps3 inside my room .. but I have no idea should I go to cheap 32" TV or smaller but higher spec monitor for PS3?

Which will you recommend? I dont have much budget for this monitor as it will be my secondary display - to use in a room at in-law house. LOL. I wanna go for 'value for money' display. Probably have a budget of RM400 for monitor or RM700-800 for TV.

Hello there,i hope someone who has some knowledge about what im about to ask.

to begin,is it possible to buy the LCD panel itself and whatever parts required for it to function from a distributor? to further explain my intentions, what i intend to do is to custom build a desktop LCD panel with the casing made out of acrylic, just like acrylic desktop casings, however i couldnt find any sources on LYN or Google about distributors willing to sell the components.

im also asking this instead of buying the already made LCDs because none of them have the design i am looking for + they look quite bulky to bring to LAN parties.

If anyone knows any Distributor in KL selling separate new LCD parts do share some information.

Bought 24" full hd led monitor and hook up with my ps3 however the gfx is bad somehow althought the monitor is running 1080p. Looks like most of the games is upscales includng ff13 which suppose can run at 1080. Am i missingthe correct settings here?
