Hi guys,
I'm thinking of getting PS3, however, knowing that most of the game render natively in 720p instead of 1080p, would the game look suckier? Also, am thinking of getting this monitor Dell ST2320L Or should I follow tanseehua's recommendation and source for the Toshiba Regza 19HV10E? p/s: Budget is RM2K, the MY PS3 will cost RM1099 already, RCA -> 3.5mm cable and HDMI together likely cost RM50, want to spend more on game instead. |

QUOTE(ffrulz @ Feb 8 2012, 08:55 PM) Nothing at the moment. The 400Hz is motion interpolation. For example 3D Gaming needs 120Hz refresh rate to achieve 60FPS per eye in game. I see thanks. In that case i wasted money getting a 400hz LED.. 100hz would already do fine for PS3.Same goes with 24Hz refresh rate for blu-ray movies, you see those 100Hz and 120Hz/200Hz mostly are used during Blu-ray movie playback. |

QUOTE(ffrulz @ Feb 9 2012, 11:51 AM) Not really, if you watch blu-ray movies it would be beneficial to you. And also you can consider it to be future-proof in a sense. Thanks for the confident vote. lol. TV prices really drop lately. Getting a tv 2 years ago versus now is such a wide difference. Almost 50% off for the same spec. |

QUOTE(john_makaay @ Feb 12 2012, 09:35 AM) I am using Samsung series 6 6400 LED 3D tv. Was a bit disappointed coz dont really feel that much "3D". Playing at normal was better. Not sure if this specially for PS3 3D TV would be any better. For me, i cant describe how good 3D TV is, you have to put the glasses on, see it to know it. |

Latest plasma tech already include the anti screen burning. Im using a Samsung 42" Plasma for my self about a year already and so far had no problem on the screen. To me plasma contrast is way better compared to LCD. Only downside is that plasma tend to use more power than LCD/LED.

Last time I check (about a month ago) Sony Centre Melaka got promotion 40" LCD full HD going around 1.4K only last i check prices for 40-50" plasma's are always 30-40% cheaper than lcd/led variants. |

to all sifus here, please help me..
recently i bought a new LED TV, Samsung UA40D5030.. when i connect my ps3 to this TV via HDMI cable, it only can output 576p only. whenever i choose 726p/1080i/1080p, the screen will go blank and then back to this 576p already tried with the resetting with power button off-->then keep pressing until beep.. the same ps3 and cable on my samsung LED monitor is working fine in 1080p is it could be the cable problem? i'm using a cheap HDMI cable any solution? *SOLVED it just a freaking cable problem This post has been edited by jokerxxx: Mar 1 2012, 09:34 AM |
