Hmm so picture control only works in captureNX/viewNX? then when if i straight away PP RAW using photoshop, the original color rendering of my camera will be gone, just the details? So the color are artificial (not directly by camera)?

Taken yesterday, 200mm f/2.8 -> creamy bokeh biggrin.gif. Well of course, background cannot be busy, else won't look so creamy.

Walao, pin sharp and creamyyyyyyy!!!
Since when you have this lens? XD

Sorry i thought is 200mm prime lens f2.8 haha
70-200VR II is simply amazing T.T

Added on April 25, 2010, 12:52 pmHey actually how to use exposure compensation on our camera? When the condition is too bright (for example, super bright sun) should i lower the EV or increase?

My instinct told me is to decrease so that the picture will be darker, is it?

That will be 200mm f/2 instead tongue.gif. To get such bokeh, your background cannot be busy.

Compensation? Are you trying to meter the skies? Or meter your object? It depends what you want to meter. Our matrix metering will get fooled at times, so you'll have to do compensations for that.
*
Is it necessary to use the exposure compensation? I don't really use that and I always leave it at 0. I saw your EXIF for this 200mm shot is at +2/3 stop. So putting it POSITIVE value will increase brightness? Or positive tells the camera that the condition is too bright, so camera will meter it darker?

Hi guys...new here..

d90+8GB+bag+tripod tr38 = rm 3400

the price ok or not?  read the thread, ppl can get lower than this...

please advise...
*
Where u got this price? KL or penang?
If KL, then can get cheaper. Digitalsmania @ Pudu plaza selling at RM3350, free 4GB (not 8gb though), a very nice quality nikon bag, cleaning kit and UV filter. Tripod should get a good tripod (rm200+ i think can get a decent one already) because the free tripod usually very light. wind blow jatuh.

Ya I treat photography as hobby too. Even if im shooting for a long time, I won't take wedding photography too because ppl's wedding is only once. I don't want to spoil it if I am not truly a professional.

Is this your case too, celciuz?

*

clothes and camera can't be put into a same bag la. camera you always carry it with you when you travel, if you put clothes together in camera bag then when you go out take photo will be darn heavy. (if there's such bag)

@celciuz
what camera strap you're using?

got 2 ways, like wat i always do  biggrin.gif
1st, put clothes in top compartment when journey there
after reach destination n checked in hotel, take clothes n leave it at hotel
then go out carry bag with cam gears only

2nd, sumtimes i bring sling bag to carry extra stuffs
after checked in hotel, put wat gears i nid in the sling bag
*
I prefer a travel bag (those typical travel bag, not luggage) and a camera backpack/slingbag. Although i carry 2 bags but it's comfortable to carry like this.

Digital camo? Everyone else in my group is using camo, I'm the only unique black in the group xD (proud!! tongue.gif)

Oh I got my black for RM59, not too pricey biggrin.gif. Comfy actually hehe, almost broke my neck with the original strap on D90 + 18-105 + SB900. If now add grip + 70-200 don't know to hang already haha~
*
When you bought yours did you call the shop to ask for stock? or u just go there and see?
Really wanted to buy one because nikon's strap really not comfy.
