QUOTE(gerald7 @ Jun 3 2010, 07:44 PM) I have a ext WD Mybook 1T.. Fat32... I tot I was going to be moving it between with my other windows computer. But I found that I rather not be lugging it about. I have filled it to about 80% and I was thinking is there a way to change it to HFSJ while retaining the data inside? Its kinda tricky to be moving about 800GB worth of data LOL also, anyone tried http://ntfsmounter.com/ ? i dont believe there's a way to change the format and retaining the data inside never used ntfsmounter before... ntfs-3g works fine for me. any reviews on ntfsmounter?

If using firewire as a method to plug in...it doesnt require to use power supply right? Example if i'm buying a WD external hardrive is hard for me to copy files from windows OS (like muvie or audio) and play it in Mac Os right?

Hi guys,
Since we are on the topic of backup, I'm looking for software that can auto-backup (at time intervals) specific folders from one external HDD to another external HDD.
Does anyone know of any ? Would love to hear some recommendations.
Thanks.

I set mine to back up every hour when I am working on my photos http://www.econtechnologies.com/pages/cs/c...o_overview.htmlThis post has been edited by Mavik: Jul 20 2010, 11:19 AM

Mavik & wei,
I'm using ChronoSync now. It's a little tricky to get the schedule up and rolling. Finally got it moving after some time of messing with the settings. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
