QUOTE(MT-MT @ Jun 7 2010, 02:42 PM) ok..my ram only 21.6m? how to clear it up to 55m metioned above? try go options and choose close all...it will close all the background running applications and u'll get more free RAM...seems like mission impossible.. please guide..... Added on June 7, 2010, 2:47 pmbut after i restart my hp..it become 45.6ram.. am i miss anything? U see, when u 1st restart your phone, no application is running (only base apps running like Homescreen and menu) so that's why you get more RAM after restart...which is good..as u continue using the phone(SMSing, open music, internet), it used more RAM and your RAM will going down day by day.. so you can always open the taskman and choose to close all the apps... it's also recommended to restart your phone time to time for optimal performance... |

QUOTE(veriz88 @ Jun 7 2010, 09:25 AM) Oh, i mean I lost my N97 earlier & now I bought myself a new one, not second hand unit. Btw phoenix is for flashing why do u need it since u have cer & key? It's a brand new zitron unit. I've already do the 4 finger reset to it. But when I use phoenix, it can't get the product code, the pop up window is blank in the product code field. Btw, I've already got myself a cer & key file from opda. Do I still need to use Phoenix? Thanks aspire2006 If i not wrong to get product code is to use nemesis Added on June 7, 2010, 11:46 pmfro my experience jbak and taskman make the phone more laggy This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Jun 7 2010, 11:46 PM |

QUOTE(PyOsE @ Jun 7 2010, 11:43 AM) u use phoenix for what? see product code? or u wanna flash? if u already got ur cer + key oredi can sign your application..no need flash/JAF/hack Sorry, maybe Im noob.Actually I just wanna hack my phone, install unsigned apps & get rid of certificate errors. Shall I consider by having cer & key, I don't need to hack my phone anymore? Btw, when I use my camera in dark place, I saw 'running blue lines' at the screen. Same when I shoot video in dark place. Is all the N97 camera behave like this or just me? Another problem is when using flash light, the picture turns out to have a 'white shadow' at one side... QUOTE(veriz88 @ Jun 8 2010, 05:10 PM) Sorry, maybe Im noob. The white flash is a common problem on all nokia N97 to solve this u need draw a line between the camera and flash to fix this.Actually I just wanna hack my phone, install unsigned apps & get rid of certificate errors. Shall I consider by having cer & key, I don't need to hack my phone anymore? Btw, when I use my camera in dark place, I saw 'running blue lines' at the screen. Same when I shoot video in dark place. My N97 got no blue lines or do u have any sample u can show us For installing unsigned application cert and key is sufficient if u plan to hack the phone for more special features like customize theme, remove hidden files u might need to use custom firmware This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Jun 8 2010, 08:00 PM |

Upgraded to v21. Phone feels responsive now. New problem: cannot change Destinations settings (WPA, 802.1x etc).
I suspect my SMS got problem too. Messages after a certain date exhibit no problem at all, messages before a certain date I can see the preview text in inbox but: i. cannot open ii. cannot choose 'Option' All messages stored in Mass Storage. Could USB<->PC silliness be the problem? |
