I heard 5800 V50 firmware might be the last firmware. Will it happens to N97 also?

My gf garmin still locks very slow...
It shows 5 satellite signal but just couldn't get the lock on. |

It seems my gf N97 have weird sound when on low battery status. Everytime the screen is tapped, the sound appear.
