@yangxi
I have an HDpro-16 dual wifi, however with the firmwares from december my mediaplayer can´t find a wifiee signal anymore. It simply cannott see any signals in the PA screen under wireless connections in setup. When I put back the firmware from 28-10-2011 then i can find the signal again and i Can connect to my network again.
sooooo, can you tell me when the next firmware update will come out and if this problem will be adressed????

Hope to get a reply! rclxub.gif

Life is too short for me. I love to watch movies but can't spend too much hours in front of the idiot box.

Sometimes on PC, I watched movies with increased speed, say 1.5X to 1.7X so that I can finished the movie during lunch-time.

Does any media players has such feature?

Based on my experience with other electronic devices that uses a HDD, when encountered such IO errors, please do a FULL Scandisk on the HDD with sector check & repairs settings enabled.

It will be VERY-VERY lengthy scan but it does worth it.

Already used a HDPro+ for over 2 years and never encountered such error with this unit, but recently a friend's new;y-bought A.C Ryan tends to encounter such error multiple times.

Hey bro, although is my post but still thank you for reply.

And yes, it is my HDD problem. I was so silly went bought V12 from Yangxi and transfer the old HDD over and end up same issue again. Until I tried on other HDD then found everything were fine. laugh.gif

So now I stick to V12 and keep HDPRO+ as backup. tongue.gif

Hi all and bro fylon,
Sorry I'm not an active user, heck.. even my post count got resetted..
I thought was trying to help, as even you asked about the IO Playback error, I'm telling based on my experienced only.
Sorry if anyone offended.

BTW, I used the Dat@ge firmware (HDpro-s_YG_Mar_29-2011) for my HDPro+ and it seems it work out OK, only blackout at the App page.

Personally, I like my current HDPro+ (even though it's already outdated compare to all these new player in the market) it has served me & my family well.

I am using that too. I like the display screen. Btw, can you :

1. Get You tube to work?
2. How about turning off preview? some movies seem to hang.

TQ.

Hi Yangxi / fellow HDPRO users,

Been using the metal case HDPRO since 2010. Recently having two troubling issues.

1) Both USB ports stopped working. Not detecting inserted wifi dongle or any USB thumbdrives. Internal harddrive still mounts ok. The USB ports are still supplying power though like when I plugged in notebook cooler (fan).

2) The remote control seem to leak power even when not used. As a result, batteries die in 1 or 2 days. Buttons are not stuck and no commands or infrared signals are sent to the player. Double checked by using a camera pointing to the infrared transmitter.

Please advise. Thanks!

Hi All,

i am using HDpro+ 1073 chipset with latest firmware Version Sept2011. All these while i use it to play TrueHD & HD Master Bluray source file, my AV Receiver is Pioneer VSX 920. Normally it can works but i need to retry playing the file several times to make sure my AVR can detect the source as truehd. But recently it does not work anymore. It sometimes detect them as 2 channel and most of the time no sound at all.

My Amp working fine with BD Player on TrueHD 7.1. Anyone having the same issue before? I tried downgrade firmware to Dec2010 still the same.. now all my 7.1/5.1 30GB source file became useless..sigh...

Suspected your HDpro+ HDMI audio output board spoiled maybe three things you can try.

1). HDMI change new cable
2). AVR change HDMI input (Make sure AVR switch OFF before switching)
3). Check again AVR or HDpro+ audio setting.

If still not works is a time to change new mediaplayer.
