QUOTE(yangxi @ Oct 3 2010, 01:41 AM) New firmware
1/10/2010for : HDPRO+ / HDPRO Mini (Hdpro ..contact me) http://www.4shared.com/file/LDqcZ3g3/Hdpro_20101001.html- Add Voole ( PPS alternative) - Support Bitstream DTSMA , TRUEHD (last version already support) - Minor bug fix. OMG. My update has failed. Extracted the files into a blank pendrive. Saw some error "...kernel image failed." After reboot, stuck at HDD Player startup screen. Was on Aug 5 firmware prior to update. QUOTE(yangxi @ Oct 6 2010, 07:15 PM) oh liao... firmware corrupt..>< my link is ok.. few customer already update. pendrive need FAT32. try copy again.. and hold the power button 5-6sec ..than release. Hope can auto flash again. if problem still exits... return back to me. Thanks a million Yangxi! It worked! I think it failed previously because I formatted the pendrive to FAT32 on a Mac. Tried again using Windows. Thanks.

Hi Yangxi / fellow HDPRO users,
Been using the metal case HDPRO since 2010. Recently having two troubling issues.
1) Both USB ports stopped working. Not detecting inserted wifi dongle or any USB thumbdrives. Internal harddrive still mounts ok. The USB ports are still supplying power though like when I plugged in notebook cooler (fan).
2) The remote control seem to leak power even when not used. As a result, batteries die in 1 or 2 days. Buttons are not stuck and no commands or infrared signals are sent to the player. Double checked by using a camera pointing to the infrared transmitter.
Please advise. Thanks!
