Guys, the link above explains that hyper dash pro motor has silver carbon brushes...
Well, I get a little confused over this statement and I can't figure out whether it means silver-plated carbon brushes or the brushes themselves are silver metal...

Basically how can we maintain it?
Since we are not allowed to use "opened" or modified motors during competition, is there any ways to maintain it?

Previously I've read a few posts regarding motor care, something like dipping the inner part of the motor into oil and dried it....then reinsert back again, but is there any other method that need not have the motor opened?

take the rc cleaner and spray directly into the motor .

we use spray to lube the brush and commutator, so it produce higher rpm.

meanwhile, in the final race, you can't do spray or adjustment for your car... so, proper run-in a motor is the best way for the long run race.
