If you guys are selling, please jot down the price as well and I will consider it. Thanks a lot guys...haha, enjoice... Viper, try to do your best, but be slightly humble as there are many pro and seniors right here. =) This post has been edited by Beans: Mar 16 2010, 12:36 AM |

Erm, well, I emphasize on viper's post. Actually I'm also not sure whether the RM 33 axle ball bearings will improve the car.
Yes, indeed, ball bearings do make things smoother and less frictional force in between, but the weight is certainly heavier as they are made of aluminium. Metal is anyhow heavier than plastic, so if we use the original plastic ones, the weight is lighter but less smooth compared to the ball bearings. So based on your opinion, which is better? Thanks guys. |

Wow, there are so many replies on your post, lolholol...so I better send my post separately from yours so that people can see clearly la ^^
I understood what you mean, but sorry to say, I think you didn't get my point. What I mean is: using plastic = light =) but rough =( using ball bearings = heavy =( but smooth =) so in the end, are both the same? in terms of speed, isn't there any differences? thanks for you reply anyway... Regards, Beans |

Hi guys, I know those High Grade carbons are made of carbon.
Then what are the materials that made up those FRP plates? |

Erm, by the way, does the stacking of 2 FRP plates have the same strength as the High Grade Carbon?
Or even stacking will lead to bending after running on the track for a period of time? Well, another funny question I'm interested is do you guys experience any damage on your High Grade Carbon (only for those who use High Grade Carbon)? Because I actually plan to purchase the High Grade Carbon but since its price tag is much higher than those RM 11 FRP, I would like to know whether it lasts long or not. Thanks for your answers and knowledgeable replies. Regards, Beans. QUOTE(szngszng @ Mar 17 2010, 06:00 PM) Wa... maybe you can email tamiya and ask them better.... like you ask kitchen how you cook ... will them tell you the recipes? wow, thank thanks =)but assure the frp old time and new frp will be different, old time frp is softer and new 1 have reinforced, this has been stated in the year book of the tamiya. hg carbon only content of 25% carbon on the top and bottom... the surface may crack when hit the solid wall.... well can fix it with ac glue ... it's still 75% frp.... 2 pcs frp for sure not as strong as HG but it lighter... but 1 thing is the glue you choose to stick the frp is much more important...hehehe... Added on March 17, 2010, 6:38 pmnew new new no la, where got people ask the recipe one, secret ma... but this is a different case la... yes, the glue is important because if they don't stick together, the force produced when it hits the wall will only be felt by one FRP instead of 2. =) |

Not sure why... Added on March 17, 2010, 9:22 pmhaha, I noticed something. For all the Dash cars from Dash 1 to Dash 5, all of them have a small little round cartoon sticker on it...seems like a dragon. What's the actually? haha.
