Help! I m using nF4 Infinity. The temp at system 2 can go as high as 50C even at idle state and warning beeps. How can this occur? Where is system 2?
*
system2 should be your chipset
temps around 50C are quite normal

just raise the "high" temp under options to something like 60C

Thanks, emm...is my temp normal (idle)?
Quite worry coz I see fire.

*
no idea about SpeedFan cause i'm not sure temp1, 2 , 3 etc is for what sweat.gif
but that should be your chipset again...as i've said 50C is quite normal
dont see according to the picture of the fire, get the value and judge for yourself
maybe 20C also got fire pic?

QUOTE(gengstapo @ Dec 12 2005, 11:56 AM)

they'll say its your psu cause their "requirements" are a 480W psu and above shocking.gif
i dont see any reason why a 256mb stick would run fine but it doesnt have enough power for a 512mb stick? blink.gif

I wouldn't call those ES tbh.. afaik they don't sell their ES to general public..

i'm thinking yours have memory controller problem or it didn't meet the requirements for it to be a 3000+
*
If its the same as the one i tried, it probably is an ES or something weird like that
IHS has nothing on it, multi unlocked, doesnt work with my Ultra-D and of course i didnt get it from a shop biggrin.gif

wow, whos supposed to be able to see that pic? sweat.gif

what do u mean in the same place channel?
the 4 slots come in 2 pairs, your rams will only run dual channel if they're inserted 1 complete pair
they're color coded, so to run DC, both sticks will have to be in either the yellow slots, or the orange slots
in your case, dimm 3&4 should be the orange slots i guess, then theres no problem at all
there is a reason for the colours y'know sweat.gif

if it passes 1 test but fails another, it means it isnt totally stable at that speed
if u really want total stability then u gotta lower the speed a bit

lol, next time just resize the pic a little bit or upload it at some other site

yupp, thats the way it is
if u use slot 1 & 3 or slot 2 & 4 they'll run single channel only

err...no idea on the sata port thing, but even if there's a difference i doubt it's anything big or probably not even noticable

tried the plain Infinity before
good board for the price, overclockability not much of a difference from the LP versions

More or less, i want something that's better than my current Asus A8N5X

would it work well with KVR?
*
didnt do a direct comparison, but i'd guess its slightly less la...
if the Infinity series better than the LP series... sweat.gif

i'd say its the best overclocking board for that price
*might* have some issues with your rams though
depends on the chips and a bit of luck
some ppl have problem with hynix chips, i never had any

it'll work fine without the floppy connector, tested by myself
think that's for the extra vdimm

my guess is without the molex it'll work fine too, unless you're wanting to OC to the max then you've got no choice

any normal fan will make the chipset cold down 3~5'C. btw, you got any idea to cold down the heatsink that i circle it?  notworthy.gif
*
he's talking about changing the hsf, not adding a fan blowing at it
