Can't even elak (avoid) the bad guys?
At least Eternal Sonata you can see the bad guys also, but can avoid them.

the characters in FF13 are very "MAN"
they never back down from a fight!

I haven't played the game.

But I hate linearity and boring storyline.
I want back the feeling while playing FF7,8,9 and 10. But I think FFXIII will let me down once more after X2 and XII.

SE need to go through their mistakes in XII and XIII and do very well in FFvXIII. If not, they will lose huge FF fanbase since next FF will be MMORPG in which not many people will be interested and FFXV will take much longer time to be out. During this period, if they still fail to impress in FFvXIII, FF series's glory will become history.

I think you can right? Press start, then select. Then you will move back to the moment before you engage the enemy, right?

3 hours into this game.

Tilt left stick to move, press O in battle. Watch it. thats all ones need to do.

so far no level up function (still in chapter 2). thus no point to engage in battles that are avoidable.

boring background.. very boring space station / space city like background with uninteresting enemies (robot type).

graphics are pretty nice. But FF13 is not even leading in graphics if compared to Heavy rain / uncharted 2.

story is the usual ff style with many many names that i don't normally bother.

but its not a bad game really.. just that expectations are too high for most of us.

meh... no rpg games are not linear... Its all fight, cutscene plus towns and caves.... U dun play jrpg and expect it to have like superb fight. Although many try to do it now.. Maybe u say... Its time to change jrpg.. But... sometimes not ervy new things is an enjoyable thing.. And dun tell me the stories of any games are as good as a movie or a drama?? So unexpected?? Then you might as well read a novel...

Though I cant entirely say that this is the best series.. Cuz the characters are too normal... You feel them more as a team than an individual characters... There are not so much of truly heartfelt emotions.. maybe some.. compare to their previous predecessors.. In which some may not like it.. Cuz FF was "suppose" to give you an awe on their characters... The deep bonding between the players and the characters.. Although have to admit oso la... Not much interaction of like.. to so some small trivial stuff which is very interesting indeed..Well, Small achievements make you happy dun they? Well, This one big expectation that was not meet lead to many flaws that they cant be over look anymore..

But, please dun say FFXIII is boring just by hearing others... Even though u dun feel them individually.. But as a team... it was still a nice storyline.. If you are a fan of FF.. This is not much of a disappointment.. If you are new .. And you are a hardcore gamer since like a long long time ago or are very spoilt by action base game... Then.. yea... you might as well just pick up GOWIII for the gruesome fight and leave FF alone... There is no point in condemning a game.. Its your personal taste.. Take it or leave it...


Eternal Sonata is boring... lol...
If you finish the game.. I think FFXIII is more than ok... XD


PS: I kinda like snow.. XD.. Eventhough Sephiroth is oways number one in my heart...

i agree thought that the pace of the story is really slow...it is only when u reach

for ppl without patience...it is easily bored fest for them.

you can sneak past mobs but a lot of them need you to use an item to aid you with that tasks... and a lot of those treasure ball chest are guarded by mobs
