yeah welcome to the kimchi land soon.. you will not regretting it & i dun coming from Nippon H car haha..This Evening coming doen from CH towards Penang, the smooth gliding down the CH-Spg Pulai is so trailing and tackling every curve at 90km/hr like peanut..Not even my older Cibik FD can do this..well except when I modified to sport suspension but the ride of the modified car was so hard & stiff and this Kimchi did it right wth similar to my heavully modified suspension civic FD but yet stiff soft & comfortable..Passing 3000km mark dy and the power getting better and I almost got back missing pick-up similar to my old ride but wth much better mid-range & hi-end power haha..

haha indeed u got poisoned. Anyway, mine already autofoamed (Comfort/ bottom underbody frames)..otherwise, on a stock Sonata, there is still slight vibration and not as superior as Teana & Camry interm of real comfort. Only after autofoamed, the vibration gone & starting & idle no more vibration & thus got the "feeling" haha...The engione also not as refined as Toyota or Nissan as the engine start & during riding is audible. That's the only complain I have on Sonata.

When comes to handling no deny due to longer & wider body & harder suspension, it's the best handling ca out there. But due to hard setting it will not be comfortable as Camry & Sonata haha..
On handling & power, Accord>Sonata> Camry but on comfort it's Camry>Sonata>Accord No deny on it. However wth abit of Autofoam, Sonata is as good as Camry interm of comfort except the louder than usual engine noise no tnx to the Mitshubishi/Hyundai/Crysler developed Theta II engine |

Autoworld forum on Sonata is not quiet..probably the title.."Booking List" not interest lotsa ppl haha
BTW, the waiting time getting longer! according to few forumers at autoworld, the AP problem probably the culprit!! Hyundai M'sia running low on AP as Ap following past year sales..Wth the high demand & lack of AP, they are having difficulties to cope up wth the demand |

Thinking of getting the standard spec 2.0 coz really concerned about the reliability of the sunroof. Afraid that the rubber lining will crack in our weather condition thus will create potential leakage in the long run. What do u guys think?

got 5 yrs warranty mah.
Anyway, FYI, there are minor problems too encountered by owners..such as rattling sunroof - no solution yet, Rattling exhaust pipe - SC started replacing those units affected, scratch brake disc- also replacing done. & also rattling at the boot area- due to loose reverse sensor / fuel cap cable - rectified However not all having these problems QUOTE(zad78 @ Sep 13 2011, 04:56 AM) Thinking of getting the standard spec 2.0 coz really concerned about the reliability of the sunroof. Well, if that is the case, then 2.0 standard spec it is...even though got warranty, its troublesome to go to and fro a lot of times to get it settle...Anyway, FYI, there are minor problems too encountered by owners..such as rattling sunroof - no solution yet, Rattling exhaust pipe - SC started replacing those units affected, scratch brake disc- also replacing done. & also rattling at the boot area- due to loose reverse sensor / fuel cap cable - rectified However not all having these problems |

I dont think the sunroof is covered.Anyway, FYI, there are minor problems too encountered by owners..such as rattling sunroof - no solution yet, Rattling exhaust pipe - SC started replacing those units affected, scratch brake disc- also replacing done. & also rattling at the boot area- due to loose reverse sensor / fuel cap cable - rectified However not all having these problems |

Your Civic couldnt handle the bends in that area at 90kmph? Are you sure? Those bends were actually designed to handle cars travelling at 85kmph and this was way back in the 1980's. New generation cars would have no issues at all taking them at 90kmph. Even my Vios can take them relatively well (except on rainy days when i rather not take the risk). |
