planning to buy Roccat Kave for its true 5.1 surround sound. If compared to G35, which one has better surround sound quality?

and 1 more thing, can i buy this headset at lowyat, is it available there?do i need to order from any shop first or just walk in?

Definitely better than G35 for surround quality. Yes, you can get it in Low Yat Plaza shop lots. They have ready stocks there.

I have read somewhere that G35 is better than Razer Megalodon, so since surround sound quality of

Roccat Kave is better than both of them, I will just go for Roccat, save money somemore.

Try looking for it from Cex / Lingloong / Moderno instead. You might have a better chance of getting some discount.

i myself just ordered it from lingloong. Will be getting my set after hari raya. Was in the same predicament as you were between g35 and the kave. But went for kave in the end. I was really keen to G35 as i already have a few collection of G's in my posession

One thing to keep in mind is that, it's a pretty heavy thing, so if you have the length set wrongly, you might experience discomfort. You'll soon get use to the weight though . It's a great headset, especially when paired with a great sound card .

Ahh, if you hear any buzzing sound, and you're using Windows 7, just head to the Sound page in Control Panel and disable the +20dB increase for the microphone, it should stop the buzzing. Don't know if this works for Vista . Works for me most of the time .

Thing to get kave as well.
One question here, i would like to get kave and using it for my notebook.
As notebook only have normal 3.5mm port, so i have found CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER X-FI SURROUND 5.1 USB SOUND CARD.
Is it suitable for kave?

Should support without a problem, as long as there's four jacks .

i try kave on my sis laptop which only have 3 jacks and it work xD but i sacrifice my mic
i just change the 3 jacks into front, center & rear speaker

not much external 5.1 sound card out there...
personally i think it is a good choice if ur budget is around 200...

wow..seeing all of you talking about Roccat Kave here, it's making me more excited to get one.

since this is the first good headphone im about to buy, i hope this is the right choice, because before this i just use cheap headphone

haha, those are audiophile lvled adi, unless u use the lower end ones.
