IMHO , if your just like casual gaming and watching movies and such , stick with your current sound card/chipset , unless your the audiophile type and wants to hear every note and every footsteps in the game..

Alright, thanks for the advise.
But I'm not so satisfied with the level of quality coming from the headphone. It isn't the same sound quality as compared to when i plug in my headphone to iphone. |

Well, i not quite sure about my mobo. but i know its asus mobo la. haha! sorry abt that. as for the sound, i haven get a sound card yet. i will update here when i get myself a sound card. im aiming to get ASUS XONAR DG HEADPHONE AMP 5.1 as i heard some good review about it. |

i just got my self Asus Xonar DG Headset amp.
it works great and i'm satisfied with the quality. well for those who wanted to buy quality yet affordable sound card, i highly recommend to get this sound card. there is a lot of reviews out there too. |
