this started yesterday.. I don't know what's causing it..UAC is off, run as admin already...

my BFBC2 always crash to desktop, cant play it even singleplayer campaign!!! just manage to watch the intro till game menu after that it either HANG or CTD..

already updated latest nvidia gpu driver & game ver.

do no what to do anymore...

im using Win 7 home premium + GTX285 + Win 7 & game are ORI

you can try run as "Administrator", that always helps...

Try Adjust the DxVersion, you can set it to 10 first. If crash, try 9. My ati3870 only can set to 9 will crash when set on 10.

about Ati VPU recover, i believe this option need to enable cause it help you recover from the graphic crash. But how i disable the option sending report error? Everytime ati send report the game screen will minimize and the ati screen came out.

, did you modify the settings.ini or gamesettings.ini file? because i'm afraid it's the SpeakerCount... try disable or set to 2 or whatever as long it's default...

go to ur Documents folder,there should be a BFBC2 file there.inside there's a settings file.(juz settings,not GameSettings)

i did the graphic tweak like u guys suggested but problem still there...until i change DX from auto > 10 fail > 9 and its workinggggg...

i tried launch-play-closed then resume and it smooth. see how thing goes 2morro.

i think directX cause the havox.

Glad it work for U. But set DxVersion=9 got 1 major bug. The heavy machine gun shield will black out. haizz

No one is getting freeze screen then sound looping? wow. must be my bad luck after the 2nd patch! ;\

sometimes i play conquest on white pass, i use the heavy mg when i shoot, can see the background, but a lil blurry

Hey I like to make a "Small Fix" about my Freeze Screen to Sound Loop.

I've check through the EA forum site. Gives me not much information but it caught my attention that.

Majority of the people complaining are using Realtek on board sound.

Solution:

1) DISABLE YOUR ONBOARD SOUND.

2) Get a sound card. (I'm using USB sound card X-fi GO!)

3) And Play. Winrar



Been testing it out for sometime now. Can play longer and no problem. This is not a proper fix.

I hope EA can do something about it.

Hey where is the printscreens folder? It should be under documents in the bc2 folder right.. But I dont have it.. Ive taken a few ss but cant locate any of it.
