Even u lost the phone and u wishes to terminate the contact, you will need to pay a lot of $ depends on how long u used da phone. And i dont think you can get a cheaper price with the unfortunate incident happened to you.

Its better if u lodge a police report. I assumes that the your original sim card is still intact with the iPhone. The people who picked might use your sim to commit crime.

First off, you must cancel the SIM card in the iPhone you lost, for obvious reasons. Then termination of contract whether you had a misfortune or not will not absolve you from paying any punitive costs. So, I suggest that you buy a used unit so that you can continue using iPhone with the data package. You can get a 3GS relatively cheaper now in view of the imminent sale of iPhone4.

By the way, reporting to the police would just be a formality as they would not be able to do anything positive for you.

as for your question. still cant for the time being. iOS4 will release in 10 days starting from this day so we can expect software unlock will be release for iOS4 since dev team mention about they have find a solution for the unlock..

You sure your baseband is 5.11.7? How come your firmware loop to 3.1.3?

My bad. Its 05.12.01.

That means you cant unlock your iPhone now. Rumors flying around saying that will release after IOS4 came out.
