I bought a iPhone 3GS from DiGi too. However, I am going to skip this update. A new iPhone is going to appear every June anyway

Agree too.. Furthermore heard that first version of iPhone 4 not very stable..
So better stick with iPhone 3gs with os 4..

no offense, but this is limited to a small number of iPhone 4s not all of them, juts to clarify even the first original iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS had some issues with some of its model but nothing so serious that a warranty claim cannot fix and also even the new Beemer F10 5 Sereis also has come problem with a few of its models that doenst mean all of it needs to be recalled. This is how mass production work, you make millions of this devices, some are bound to not work,thats where the warranty comes into play

The signal problem not affecting all iPhone4? I'm not sure also~~

I also thought its a design flaws where you need to hold the iphone 4 at certain angle for better reception.
Anyway, its not really related here.. That will be discuss in iphone4 page..

nope only certain models,try to look at the iphone4 thread, string and beavis tested and others whom have already ordered the phone and currently using say they dont face this issue.

when digi want sell iphone 4G ?

p/s:got yr 3gs already? i think u have been searching till the iphone 4 is launch. later scared u search 2nd hand iphone 4 till the next iPhone launch. Lol

Coz maxis is getting around sept hopefully and therefore, digi will delay about 6 months, i assume

called maxis.... maxis confirm early august launching........ whereas call digi cant give reply...... if this keep on... thing to switch to maxis for the iphone 4...

So which is true?

aspect Digi and maxis to roll out at the same time, all apple iPhone carriers are treated the same way,take a look at the Australian and UK telco's, they launched all togather.

I think Maxis will be the first to bring iPhone 4 into the Malaysian market just like them bringing in the iPhone 3G and then followed by DiGi.

We can only assume this because Maxis has already made a statement about them bringing them in but non from DiGi.

Also, i assume the price of the current iPhone 3GS 16GB (RM 2499) and iPhone 3GS 32GB (RM2999) will be replaced by iPhone 4 16GB and 32GB respectively. Expect the new iPhone 3GS 8GB to be priced same as the current iPhone 3G pricing (RM 1999) too.

DiGi has made no statement at all to indicate such signs.
And anyway, the DiGi users here are bound by 2 years contract and therefore, most likely unable to take up the iphone deal.
Unless they offer an upgrade by trading in 3GS and extending contract with iPhone 4G~

Yup but I hope that they allow you to upgrade your iPhone 3GS to iPhone 4. But i wonder what are they going to do with the traded in iPhone 3Gs?
