"I think"

READ, I-T-H-I-N-K.

This is Nottingham, not any ordinary Malaysia's Government Department.

thanks for your information. ern,the BSc (Hon) Nutrition is a new course in Nottingham? is it a 3 or 4 years course in Nottingham?
*
Yup it's a new course. Three years, graduates are not qualified to be a Dietician, only Nutritionist.

Flynn, why don't you try to call up Admission Office (and tell them about your situation)

As for their entry requirement

We cannot really give you any definite answer on the matter whether you can get a place there. After all, none of us here are from Admission I believe and we do not know what benchmark/standard they are employing to determine whether you can get a place in the relevant course or not. Do take note that if your application are given the green light,

Pay RM1000 as acceptance fee (to be deducted from your tuition fee) before you are given the Offer Letter.

Hey people may I ask if there's any of you here got called for Star Education Fund's interview (other than the two that I known and have personally confirmed)?

Is there any chances for there to be two sessions of interview other than all on the same day?

I believe if it's not needed, they wouldn't even put there.

Just to play safe, include it in your application. It's better to stick with whatever that is stated on the website.

And just a reminder, once they decide that you are eligible for the programme you applied for, a preliminary offer email will be sent to you. This is NOT the Official Offer Letter. It's just a beta-release. You'll need to remit RM1000 as acceptance fee (it's part of your tuition fee) to secure your place, and confirm that you intended to study there before you are given a Official Offer Letter.

And just one more page to 125. Is anyone doing the v4 page? If not, I'll gladly take the honour of doing it. biggrin.gif

I cant understand for people who thought studying in UNMC must be rich.

Well then, study hard and get scholarship. Some of the scholarship comes with monthly allowance. I did not use my parents a single cent on tuition fees and monthly allowance for meal and textbook expenses.

So, stop "salute" and "jelly" bout other people and start picking up ur damn book and start studying.
*
Whoa your parents must be really proud of you rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

I just managed to get my tuition fees covered. They still needa pay for my basic living expenses there.

^lol you're saying like you have no other choice but to study in UNMC.
*
Lol no la, didn't really wanna mean it in that way. Argh nvm about that.

Hey is there anyone who's staying in the TTS area? Coz I'm going to study there in the coming September and currently looking out for room in TTS, not planning to apply for on campus. I tried posting in the "Properties" thread but it got brought down to the next page pretty fast when other forumers bumped theirs.

If there's anyone who's in TTS do you mind doing me a favor by spreading my details to any landlords/friends you know that have a vacant room?

My details are as follows.

Please spread around/look out for me can? Coz I'm from Ipoh and I can't really get to Nottingham very often just to look for accommodation.

Thanks a lottttttt. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Let's say right, when me move to v4 (I think it'll be soon enough?), I suggest we recheck all the links and update any information that might be not relevant dy, also at the same time list out members who are currently student of Nottingham (and also in what course) so people who come here know who to ask/private message if they really have questions regarding some of the course the members here are currently studying in.
*
There.

I actually came out with a draft but nvm, I'll send to jinjack.

Alright, the overhauled first page is 50% complete. Show you all and please suggest the part you think need amendents.

Suggestion!! Those who are already studying there/will be studying there this year, send a private message to jinjack with our details like course, which year, graduating in, so he get to organize them and include it in the front page.

And the pay RM1000 to get offer letter matter is already listed in General Course Guide (2011/12), but it's not listed in the website yet.

Sweet, that will make it easier to let readers know about it. Maybe you can consider retake it in a better lit room for easier reading?

Added on May 24, 2011, 6:55 pm

Earliest class starts in 9am and latest can be 6pm.
Roughly 20 hours per week inclusive of lab classes. Not sure if Civil has more of those though.

If it's within 30 minutes of travel, it is alright. If it's more than that, you can consider staying instead.

One more thing.
Can any of you who are in studying on-campus contribute in the accommodation section? Write out your experience and also include the various types of rooms and rentals, along with any service it brings (SNS, cleaning etc.).

If any of you from university arranged off-campus (Edu Square etc.), please contribute as well.

I will write for privately arranged off-campus.

Maybe we can add in a section about facilities, talking about the TISCRA and the little green library. Of course, the humongous research building!

And YES, please PM to include your username in the next version!
*
Yeapsolutely, I'll get it done once I'm done with dinner later.

Glad to see that we're working on to build a different v4. Might as have establish a Lowyat Club in Nottingham LOL. laugh.gif

Hey guys, since we are now on 2,577 posts (this one would be 2,578th). What do you think if I just make V4 first. The V4 homepage will have the latest suggestions included and more edit can be done when others have the stuff ready.

What do you all think?
*
Yup, sounds like about time.

I like the 10 years in Malaysia, maybe add in "and still counting". Unofficial ones would be, WE STILL KICKS MONASH'S ASS. Pure kidding.

And I suggest drop the 3800 students thing leh, like bit weird, keep that statistics for Admission Office LOL.

Maybe we add in Uncyclo's version of Nottingham? Just for the fun of it.

[edit] Link up the Academic Calender, it's available here Academic Calendar

I've seen a few double decker single rooms in Pangkor. As if the number of troublemakers in the halls is not enough.
*
Hey I was wondering will it be better than the "Twin Share in 6 Bedded Flat"? Coz I've been to one of my friend's room before when I visited Nottingham last May, but haven't get to see the Double Decker room. Mind elaborating abit on how was it? From the Accommodation Form itself it's slightly bigger than the Twin Share one.

Might be taking on campus if cant find rooms in TTS by the end of June/July.
