Lol go leech hot water from the comp lab or water dispenser then. XD
*
LoL When I come back it'd be cold already

QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Jan 24 2011, 08:09 PM)
LOL, from the lab to her room, the hot water would become warm back already.
If you need hot water on a daily basis, then you may consider just use it until they all found out, and see if you can beat their spotchecks. They are not that free to do that every day also.
If you don't need it so frequently, maybe borrowing from your housemates/floormates once in a while will do.
*
All my flatmates are mainland girls. They have a kettle, they put it in the bathroom. I wonder if they pay for it......But you can see they're slightly untidy since the whole bathroom is littered with personal products

QUOTE(DJFoo000 @ Jan 24 2011, 08:22 PM)
i bet the fees/penalty is more than a new kettle. If they found out let them keep it and buy a new one. Hahaha.
*
By bringing a kettle I have to pay 5o cents a day, or Rm15 a month. WTF?

Why is there suddenly "must have been living in your own world" thing coming out of nowhere?
Ah well,Monash is the one which has the best world ranking in Malaysia.
Or should TS change to research uni..
I think this should be better..Haha..
Since our research department is undoubtedly stronger..
*
Well...depends on which ranking. We did pwn Monash in the recent ARWU and THE-Reuters ranking smile.gif

Induction was creepy and boring. Sad to say that =/ Apparently alot of the staff were absent.

The best part of the induction is the course induction at the end. But it's really scary since she was talking bout failing and retaking and no honours and getting expelled........by failing 2 core modules?

Accounting and COUNTINGGG are not my forte.

I believe in your case if you fail 2 core modules then it's compulsory to resit them.

And to your last statement, I would say it's 90% mindset (barrier). The remaining 10% goes to actual differences in comprehension ability. Accounting and Quantitative Methods is all about practice.
*
hahahaha true. Lots of practice from now on, A2 style *bang wall*

Oh you business school? Cool. Taking FAM?

Anyway, why was it creepy and I would like to know who is the lecturer.
*
Because alot of 'fails' ' expelling' 'kicked out' and other synonymous phrases were mentioned despite the very upbeat presentation

Roommates? Thought you live in single room?
There bound to be people like that. My housemates (when I was still on-campus), they used to rear dogs, cats, guinea pigs and ants I suppose. (They don't clean their stuff, attracting ants in the end.)

Enjoy the jungle!

WOW!

CAN BRING CATS?

Mehehehe. Now I'm trying to fit in at the campus.

A little summary of things:

There are only 12-13 people in my class. Mostly foreigners; couple of chinese Malaysian people, and the rest are korean guys and sri lankans. I like the small class biggrin.gif i actually have a chance to get to know everyone.

Its my second day here, although I don't have much close friends here yet, I think I will be flanked by a few in due time. The seniors are quite friendly; I was at the pool and at the gym, with some suit just dipping since i forgot to bring my goggles. A senior approached me and offered to lend me his and started a conversation. Not bad for a second day lol

I am still trying to find my way around the uni hahahahahhaha

My dad secretly upgraded my internet speed to 312. I do not know how he managed to do that

I can easily get my supply of hot water from the kitchen by microwaving. Hahhaa

Now I am looking for seniors who want to sell their books second hand to me!

Added on February 9, 2011, 9:47 pmThe dorm room is a bit infested with bugs. A cockroach flew on my head while I was sleeping in the first day. Killed it
