Any idea what the airconditioned, single, ensuite, on-campus rooms are like? How big are they?

Thanks, DJFoo. Can students bring their own TVs, DVD players, etc? And are the halls gender-segregated?

Halls are gender-segregated by floors. Odd number floors are male-only, even numbers female. But you might get an occasional male staying on the 4th floor coz not enough rooms I guess.

Hall policy regarding electrical appliances, need to check with respective halls coz the details are a bit fuzzy THB.

I applied for Engineering too. Yea, my application is under processing. Have you gotten ur actual results? becoz if u use forecast, they would only give a conditional offer and you won't get the complete offer until the requirements are met by your actual results. Well, this is true to my knowledge, but i suggest you check with the University or a Education Counselling Service. It would be nice to see you there, assuming we both are able to get in.

Indeed, that is the way. If you meet the requirement they wrote on your conditional offer letter, then you will be getting a place automatically. Note that, some of the offer letters (not sure if Nottingham practise this or not) do mention that you must inform them your result latest by some date, or you may risk your place being taken.

There is no quota for students intakes. You can still apply after you get your SPM results.

hey guys, recently uk government is going to ban the foreign students for working in uk after graduation from universities which are in uk .I am very confusing about that, as i intend to enroll to university of nottingham (chemical engineering course), the last two year i plan to transfer to uk campus, if i can't work there after graduation , i think it is worthless.
*
Not true =)

But the quota will be lower no doubt. It's conservative party on the reign and "we toookk theirr joooooooobbbb"

@tanjinjack, need some guidance here. How do one study for a Materials test? Or rather, how do one prepare for it? What are the information/knowledge that would be useful for a Materials test? First test and there's so much to cover.

I think I can't help you on this. I am on the older course structure and I don't recall doing any test on any modules. (My friends who took MM3MMM, an optional Material modules do have tests though)
