If its dealing with clock reset, I don't think its is due to lightning strike. Coz if it really is a lightning strike, your unit will be roasted, no?
I got a number of pals reporting this as well, the clock failure thing. I think to confirm whether its a hardware design fault, need to see any other stuff using cell processor is facing the same thing, else I am thinking that it will be purely software. FARNEEE my PS3 slim is CECH-2006A..... not even in the list. So I'm not gonna turn on my PS3 till tomorrow.. maybe midnight tonight.
