Emm..have you been Kyoto Station before? Been Japan before?  Do you know how big is Kyoto Station?  From Entrance > Shinkashen Ticket Machine > Entrance ticket machine Gate > to upper Floor > to shinkashen Platfom > Journey 40 minute > Nagoya Station > walk down to Entrace > pass ticket machine > walk out....totaly is 1 hour plus.....

IF you say like that...at Nagoya you sure buy 12.40 minute punya bus becasue you keep say 40 minute ride..but you did't count the walking inside station time...Japan Public Transport is so so so ''ON TIME'' i can bet you 100% sure miss your Nagoya 12.40 Bus  becasue you forget count the walking time from train to station door.

IF you go japan before ur calculation will be very presice....you will buy Nagoya 1pm punya BUS ticket from Nagoya train station to Nagoya CIty
*
i was talking about shinkansen itself ONLY, not your walking time or take bus time, waiting time or whatever time, god knows how fast or how slow u walk.

i will be staying in keio plaza hotel in shinjuku..so i assume it is close from shinjuku park??
this will be my first trip to tokyo city though, so dont really know much about it sad.gif
btw, roughly how far is keio plaza from akihabara?? planning to shop some camera stuffs
*
When you arrived at the airport/hotel/station, find any travel information counter and get the Tokyo Subway Map or you can print it out from here http://www.tokyometro.jp/global/en/service...routemap_en.pdf

I know it looks like it's super confusing rclxub.gif but just focus on finding Shinjuku (somewhere on the middle left side) then you'll find a track that is alternating in black/white. That track is the JR Yamanote line. You hop on that line (in any directions is fine as it's a closed loop) and you'll get to Akihabara.

If I'm not mistaken, Shinjuku Park is on the other side of the Shinjuku station as compared to where your hotel is. You should also get one of those Tokyo tourist guide map (should be free at all Travel information counter) and look for the Shinjuku map. It's not exactly near but it's not too far also... the thing about traveling in Tokyo... you gotta be prepared to walk. wink.gif

G'luck. thumbup.gif

lol, you love to spew out 'facts' aren't you.

China have 1.3 billion population and you said during CNY 1 billion of them are in the station. It tickles me to the bone.
*
Damm...my meaning is Chinese calculation.......if in chinese calculation is one > ten > hundred > thousand > million > ten million > hundred million > Thousand Million > billion
In English cal is one > ten > hundred > thousand > ten tousand > hundred thousand > million > ten million > Hundred million > Billion

You see the diffrent?

In chinese calculation china population is 13billion / english is 1.3 billion ...SO guangzhou CNY capacity is 1bilion (chinese) / 100 Million (english ) ...SO 100 million is Total Japan Population

So i do nth wrong...Guangzou station is holding whole Japan people in one station.

Shanghai , beijing , guangzou city population is same as whole japan 100 million population.

I think you're confusing yourself even further.
Chinese numbers are based on increments of base-10 system thus,

(1) one > (10x1) ten > (10x10) hundred > (10x10x10) thousand > (10x10x10x10) ten thousand > (10x10x10x10x10) hundred thousand > (10x10x10x10x10x10) one million etc...

So, we do NOT skip from thousand direct to million as you mentioned.

In any case, Ghuangzhou station might be more packed than Shinjuku (as per your claim but if you have a link to show some stats will be best); I think the definition of "busiest" means that the station served the most number of people in a day by means of counting the numbers of entries and exits. Not simply the matter of during peak season eg Chinese New Year.

Najib to visit Japan April 18-21

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is scheduled to make an official visit to Japan from April 18 to 21 at the invitation of the Japanese government.

This is his first visit to Japan in his capacity as prime minister.

A statement from the Foreign Ministry here said Najib will be accompanied by Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim, who is also acting foreign minister, and his wife, Datin Seri Masnah Rais, on the four-day visit.

In Tokyo, Prime Minister is scheduled to have an audience with Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko.

He will also have a bilateral meeting with Japan's Prime Minister, Yukio Hatoyama, and attend an official dinner hosted by Hatoyama.

He will visit a Japanese recycling plant, address Japanese business leaders and meet leading Japanese captains of industry as well as receive an honorary doctorate from the Meiji University.

Najib is also scheduled to meet Malaysians and Malaysian students in Tokyo before returning home.
