air filter is just an accessories, no chips no electric board no circuit, nothing to do with your ecu or battery

It doesnt really affect much, unlike open pod w/ CAI or anything that really "kicks".

What he meant was will the ECU be able to adapt to the new air-fuel ratio after adding drop-in.

coz it will change the default air fuel ratio when u using original air filter. once u change to 3th party air filter (those drop in or open pod), the valumn of the air come in to the engine will be different. thus the ECU will need to relearn the mixture of the air and petrol to have proper power & fuel combination.

Since i myself been filling up caltex, it made me interested in getting the hsbc amanah credit card coz got rm5 cash rebate when fueling with caltex. But then, saw the promotion expiry date, 31 June 2010  doh.gif  rclxub.gif
*
it only applies to HSBC amanah credit card?
i thought it applies to all. My non HSBC amanah credit card also got it. i have been getting the rebate for few months. it's rm5 rebate for every rm200 spent on petrol. so if spent 400, u get rm10 rebate. i have gotten rm15 rebate before too. guess i pumped a lot that month...
but i noticed last months bill dont have the rebate anymore despite me spending over rm200 on caltex petrol. i do know the expiry date has been extended till 31st June

Ermmm... so far I have seen 2 b-line elegance on the road. One Black color at the Kesas highway near the hicom exit and another bronze garnet at the plaza lowyat parking 2 days ago. I guess the elegance b-line has more color freedom choice compared to the previous persona iafm where b-line owners only stuck with genetic silver and iridescent white only. Someone going to get screwed laugh.gif

I like the bronze.

The silver one with the new grill looks ganas. I think if you tailgate P driver sure the poor soul will panic laugh.gif

Black one look like mafia car.
